  1. A little late, but the other film is, Split Second. Saw it when it was in the theaters.
  2. That was quick! You got the title right on the first one. The full title for the 2nd one is, The Incredible Shrinking Man. But I would have to say that you were close enough for me. Stonewolf, the field is yours
  3. The easy one is from the film, Jabberwocky Hard one is the film, Reptilicus
  4. Putting them even more out of my reach. Best I can hope for, at the moment, is that some of them do make their way into my FLGS, and I can buy some of the best of the minis then. Using them for both Conan and sword and sorcery based rpgs.
  5. Just looked at the Deep Madness KS. Wish I had the money to put into this. Some of those minis look fantastic
  6. We know that Howard was a close correspondence friend with Lovecraft, and that each of them used material from the other in their stories. But I was wondering if anyone here has tried to stat up the miniatures from the game, Cthulhu Wars, for Conan. Or, have you knowledge of a site where someone has posted their attempts?
  7. A little different from the norm, but I've used the music from this soundtrack in previous Conan games when the action was set in Zamorm and Turan. Obviously, because of the setting of the movie, it is very traditional eastern Europe with a bit of middle eastern influence. https://www.amazon.com/Subspecies-Soundtrack-Aman-Folk-Orchestra/dp/B00TLU4EE8/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1504735332&sr=1-1&keywords=Subspecies+soundtrack
  8. Got online this morning and put in my pledge. Even though I'll wait to wait until next year, I think it will be worth it.
  9. Cannot believe I missed this. Got home and the Set book was sold out. Were they just assuming that there would be no interest in it? I don't need another King Pledge, even if I could scrape the money together in five days. I hope that the they offer it for regular sale, or print some more and offer it in another KS.
  10. Having grabbed a bite to eat and a Mountain Dew to recaffeinate my brain, I think I understand what was being asked of me. The incorrect guess was, The Cat People. Going back and checking, the leading ladies in Cat People and the film I chose do look similar, but I assure you, they are two very different actresses.
  11. Excellent. After Conan, Kane is my favorite Sword and Sorcery character. Thank you for taking the time to create this!
  12. Not sure I understand what you are asking. It reads to me like you want me to announce title of the incorrectly guessed film.
  13. You are half right. One film you got correct, the other was in error.
  14. At this time Modiphius is currently working on a John Carter rpg. One of the things that will be released at the same time, or close to it, will be a John Carter table top miniatures game. IIRC, there was, at one time, mention that it would be Monolith producing the miniatures game. I do not know if that is still the case.
  15. Anyone who has seen the film cannot, imo, forget Nicol Williamson as Merlin. Soon as I saw him in that photo, I knew which movie it was. As for Iceman, I remember seeing it in the theater on the week it was released.
  16. Easy is the film, Excalibur Hard is the film, Iceman
  17. And that gives you both of them! Well done!
  18. Footballz is correct in guessing that the hard picture is from Metropolis! The scene does come after the robot takes on human form and goes out to destroy the reputation of the woman who's identity she has taken over. I regret that he is incorrect about the easy one, in as much as is there is no Universal classic horror film with the title Return of Frankenstein. But he is on the right track/ Before Frankenstein, Universal had their first horror hit. The photo I used comes from the second sequel based off of that hit. The first sequel dealt with the daughter of the title character.
  19. Just wondering if there are any Conan, REH, or Sword and Sorcery fans in the greater Columbus, Ohio area? If not, how about central Ohio?
  20. Easy one Hard one Hints, Easy one was the 2nd sequel to a hit released by Universal Studios in 1931. Hard one was a hit, in Germany, in the 1920's.
  21. The easy one; Ralph Bakshi and Frank Frazetta's "Fire and Ice" The hard one, "The Spider Returns"* I'll wait until I get home form work this evening and see confirmation of being correct before posting my pics. *Not that hard since I'm an avid fan of 30's and 40's adventure serials.
  22. Looking forward to getting this book and possibly a couple of extra add on that I could not afford the first time around.
