  1. I'm going to be the Debbie Downer here. Part of the attraction of my scenario is that it's not just hack-and-slash and find-the-guy but it's also smash-and-grab. If every scenario includes smash-and-grab then that rather takes away from Fight or Flight and it also flattens the variance between scenarios. More than that, though, I certainly can't add a second smash-and-grab into Fight or Flight - I don't think it would make sense and it would definitely unbalance it. Sorry, but I'm really not in favour of this.
  2. Hahaha that was the disturbingly obvious answer to my question, wasn’t it!
  3. Did you cut one of your boards in half?
  4. I’ve got my next test game on Sunday evening. My feeling is that my scenario may be too easy so I want to test some varied versions over the coming week or two.

  6. My feeling is that we’ve already created so much that even if no-one else outside our group is interested - and it’s nice to hear they might be - I’d still test this so we can create something together.
  7. I have to ask a difficult question here.... does the community want this? I ask because apart from @Footballzs there aren't other playtesters coming forward. I know some people are excited about Batman but nonetheless wouldn't we by now expect more people to be demonstrating some kind of excitement about this campaign?
  8. Did I miss the post inviting people to come and playtest our scenarios?
  9. I LOVE The Trap scenario. The idea of them having to kill someone they've fought alongside for the first three scenarios, combined with the catacombs under the fortress, is simply wonderful. I think this is turning out to be a really interesting campaign because these missions are so different from each other.
  10. @Primeval I love the writing for the introduction. And I see you like scorpions. You say a Spectal hand - did you mean Spectral? My only concern is that we've gone from the Outer Dark Demon in adventure 1 to the Dark Demon in 2, back to the Outer Dark Demon here. Is that an issue? My scenario can't use the Outer Dark Demon because it wouldn't be balanced.
  11. Scenario #2: Fight or Flight? https://www.conan-scenarios.com/scenarioPage.php?MissionId=1090
  12. If we’re doing side missions, could we do one with a pack of wolves?
  13. Tile colours have been updated so "Fight or Flight?" is ready to go. Thanks.
  14. Here is scenario number 2 for public testing: Fight or Flight. https://www.conan-scenarios.com/scenarioPage.php?MissionId=1090 It's a hard scenario if the heroes go for the Medallion (and especially if the OL uses a Crossbowman to activate the pirates). I actually haven't run it without them going for the Medallion but I think it would definitely be easier if they just hunt for the merchant and flee. Some of the colours are slightly off - my apologies. The red Crossbowmen on the board are blue/purple on the river. I'll change that once the editor is totally fixed. To help me with testing this scenario, please let me know a) If the heroes went for the medallion b) Who won and how? (Did the Overlord kill the merchant, did the heroes escape? etc) c) What was the health of the heroes at the end of the scenario. d) Should Hadrathus have an attacking spell as well, such as Bori's Rage? I have a feeling that would make it too easy for the heroes but in this scenario it's not amazing fun being Hadrathus just buffing everyone. Thanks @Matt John S can we post our adventures on the FB page to get other people to playtest them? Fight or Flight 5.0.pdf
  15. The tiles for the river only have the selection of Event Tiles. Thanks
  16. Yeah I always save each version to pdf. I find that a super helpful function.
  17. The Conan-scenarios website seems to have been down for the last few days. Once it’s back, I’ll tweak my scenario and then open it up for public playtesting.
  18. Actually, this should be “hack and slash through the town after the smash and grab in order to make a daring escape.”
  19. Man, Yogah with Teleport and a Battle Axe is really something to behold. These pirates only lasted for seconds after he just appeared in their hut.
  20. It's very difficult. I totally understand and respect the genre. It's a genre of male fantasy, which includes titillation at the female form. I mean, I'm literally typing this post and on the right of my screen is one of Belit's boobs! But still, since there are non-canonical elements coming in, it is an opportunity to be creative. In fact, Ikhmet could have been a woman with not too much effort. This isn't something I would go to the mat for, but ask that it at least be considered, please.
  21. OH! I thought it meant that if you roll a 3 symbol, that's ignored! Glad I checked! Sometimes I feel like I speak a different language to everyone else....
  22. The change in Untouchable from "When this character defends against a Ranged Attack, their armor value is increased by 1 for that defense" to "A character with this skill ignores the first rolled symbol when defending against a Ranged Attack" makes Shentu the MVP in a scenario featuring two units of Crossbowmen. Hmm.
  23. Hello Can we please have the extra Crossbowmen tile added to the editor? They've got Elite Shooter and Precision Shot, 2 move, 0 Guard, Rerolled red attack, 3 Reinforcement points. Thanks
  24. The issue with v1 was that they faced the Dark Demon after only having taken a couple of wounds in the whole group. Too easy. I was hoping for them to not try to take him out and keep him terrifying. It seems that with Teleport, Yogah and Ikhmet take out the Javelin Throwers and get the medallion turn 1. That costs the OL a tile and two gems. So they think the game is theirs but now I’m trying to find the balance to slow them down in the city. Foo Dogs are great, by the way. Once the DD appears on the board, they should be wounded enough to think twice before fighting it. I’d rather this were a daring escape rather than hack and slash. Or, rather hack and slash through the town in order to make a daring escape.
