  1. Has anyone been following Metal? It's been the best DC Comic I've read since Capullo/Snyders run ended.
  2. Birmingham, I would recommend you contact Mana Leak store.
  3. Herbert Langstrom and Man-Bat together would be a nice one. Would it be too much to venture to include the Royal Flush gang too? theyre more justice league but still!
  4. The Ventriloquist and Scarface would be amazing. I had totally forgotten about them.
  5. Greg Capullo and Jim Lees are the only ones worth it I think.
  6. San Diego Comic Con gave us something interesting which is written by Scott Snyder and written by Greg Capullo!
  7. Another suggestion from me regarding Catwoman:- Would it be possible for Catwoman to have her own win objectives where she can win even if the other players lose? It'd be kept secret from them but would also be reflect her having her own agenda really well.
  8. Fire has to be done as an exercise in reverse highlight, starting with Orange for the broadest bits working all the way up to a very thin black at the top. I have done it before on Warhammer Fantasy Flagellants. Duncans tutorials tend to be simple and good for this kind of thing.
  9. This is rather simple - the one from Hush. It's a good interpretation of the classic design of Catwoman. For fans of the more classic stuff, there is a crossover coming up written by Scott Snyder called Batman: Metal which looks like it could be tying up all the threads from The original Crisis on Multiple Earths all the way through to New 52s Endgame!
  10. To be fair, if it makes sense to keep them knocked out, I would do the same thing.
  11. I read through the first two arcs of it. The first arc with Batman facing off against a huge gallery of villains is amazing and serves as an excellent analysis of Two Face. It also returns KGBeast back to prominence as a genuine threat to Batman.
  12. I love the new ones. The only complaint I have is regarding Croc looking a bit too much like the Spiderman villain, the Lizard.
  13. The returning from KO point though, is very similar to the way comics work. Someone taken out of a fight is around for the big ending. I like that mechanic a lot as it means the villain needs to really have a good setup to take out a few characters quickly and keep them down.
  14. Catwoman eternal isn't really a separate thing. In Batman Eternal they did a lot of side stories. Catwomans was a particularly interesting one as it elaborates on a lot of her past.
  15. I had heard something about this. It's supposed to be going along with DC imminently releasing a big Justice League manga. It looks interesting.
  16. That just means you have the epic stories to come. The "I am..." comics by Tom King are exceptional and the artwork is superb. I am excited by this comic more than Detective Comics at the moment.
  17. I'm really glad you suggested that because Batman Eternal is another one of the most epic bits of Batman from recent years. (If you want to follow something current, Dark Days: The forge released this week looks like it is going to tie up all of Scott Snyders Batman run. The same with "Metal" which is coming this summer. Already it looks like the finale to everything the New 52 was building up to and Greg Capullo, Jim Lee and John Romita Jr are drawing it. It should be EPIC!)
  18. I enjoyed Wonder Woman but had a few critiques of it:- - Too much slow motion - Racial stereotypes - The love story wasn't necessary at all - What was the point of Dr Poison? In terms of wtaching some good DC TV Shows, I would recommend that you watch the entirety of the DC Animated Universe stuff, The Batman Adventures, Superman Adventures and all the Justice League stuff (especially series 1, it's my favourite DC cartoon). Mask of the Phantasm is the best Batman film ever released. It honestly kicks the collective butts of the Burton/Schumacher stuff and Christopher Nolans stuff. Basically just watch any DC cartoons you can. The CW-verse (Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Flash and Supergirl) are not great but are good for switching off.
  19. Marvel Vs 2pcg game - Interesting game, very much like Magic the Gathering. Needs some more work on it to be a good game but the mechanical base of it is sound and it has a lot of room for improvement.
  20. For me this is more dependent on what is included in the base game. It might be nice to include the Birds of Prey (Batgirl, Katana, Black Canary) as a KS goal or add-on for the game. Maybe do the same with the Suicide Squad (for the most part they also lack Superpowers) Maybe look at some of the non-superpowered heros and add them in such as Green Arrow. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the more minor villains as early stretch goals such as Cluemaster, Killer Moth, Firefly and KGBeast. Batarang Tokens, an exclusive artbook and others also spring to mine.
  21. From what I have been seeing of the guys inspirations and after talking to Barbi at the UKGE, I would recommend reading Scott Snyders entire New 52 run on Batman. it was where the Court of Owls was introduced and contains some of the modern seminal pieces on Joker, Riddler and a host of other people.
  22. Just a quick thing and please do feel free to delete this comment. Batman Silence is called "Hush" in English :)
  23. A campaign works well for it indeed! This does lead me (rather organically) on to a suggestion for Banes henchmen in the game (as I have seen the individual ones for Riddler). instead of having a lot of them, include instead his three famous henchmen from Knightfall:- - Bird - Trogg - Zombie These three with Bane are like elite criminals who are better then the lower downs of the other supervillains and they've been making a bit of a comeback in recent comics.
  24. This was what I had in mind originally. Make it start as Batman vs Bane, after a few turns, replace Batman with Azrael, then after beating Bane, replace Bane with Batman once more.
