Mythic Battles: Pantheon

  1. View File Worthless Objects - Equipment Cardset Dozens of new objects to add to your Equipment or Treasure Deck. Mostly worthless, but worth a big laugh... PDF FILE: Deck of Worthless Objects (for Conan_Monolith) (v1.1 2018) New version - see download below!! NEVER AN EMPTY CHEST - NEVER A DULL MOMENT IN AN INN OR DURING A CASTLE FEST Bored of empty chests or rules that only say that your recently opened chest is empty? Or is the Campaign you play too easy because all the heroes acquired valuable items during the 1st and 2nd scenario? Well here are some cards to make a Treasure Chest deck, full of worthless and mostly useless objects. But they are worth a laugh and therefore - maybe - even priceless. Off course you have to add some serious stuff to the treasure deck also. On the other hand ... some worthless objects can be throwned to a specific target. Although they shatter easely, these worthless objects aren't useless entirely. Rules for Worthless Equipment Cards These cards are essentially designed for treasure chests or token rewards. I wanted to make the rules for the cards as simple as possible. Objects without a range token, with encumbrance 0, can be used as empty chest items. They are utterly useless and worthless, but they are worth a laugh off course. Equipment cards with a ranged symbol can be thrown to another miniature (plastic model) or to an object (if the scenario has one specified). Throwing an object works like throwing a knife or axe; with the following rules: 1) Before throwing, name the object you want to hit; you can only target 1 object (usually a miniature) 2) Broken flask symbol: The object can only be used once. As soon as it is thrown, it shatters when hitting a target (or when missed: it shatters on the ground or the floor). 3) Numbered Ranged symbol: the black and white ranged symbol means the maximum range. Example: the Stygian Chamber Pot has a range of 1. It can be thrown in your own area, or in any adjacent areas with a clear line of sight. It cannot be thrown into an area which is 2 spaces away from you (dont count your own area). Normal hindering rules for ranged attacks applies. PDF FILE: YOU FOUND ME! Description: YOU FOUND ME! This cardset can be used together with the Worthless Objects - Equipment card set (designed for Conan Monolith). You can use these cards for specific scenario rules, e.g. find the princess, find a key, find the sword/treasure/man etc. You can use the 'You Found Me' cards in various ways. For example, in the beginners scenario 'In the Clutches of the Picts', it works as follows: 1. Static placement For the 'In the Clutches of the Picts' scenario, place the numbered marks on the gameboard, as shown in the setup diagram. Now, make a Worthless Object - Equipment deck of at least 7 cards, or more if you want some random variety (in this scenario, Pict camp, it is suggested to add several Pictish objects). Don't add ranged cards with the shatter symbol for official scenarios, since it can unbalance the scenario (If you want to use some one-time-only Worthless Objects with the shatter symbol, you have to tweek the scenario). Shuffle the deck without looking at the cards, and draw seven cards. These cards resembles 7 random token numbers. Now add the Princess (or another card with the text: you found me). Shuffle the deck again and lay them in a row next to the gameboard, each card adjacent to another, with the backside up (you cant see the objects). After this, place on each card a number marker, the same amount and the same numbers which are on the gameboard. As soon as you enter a hut, remove the number marker from the gameboard and draw a Worthless Equipment card with the same number marker. Did you find the princess or just some 'dust and dead flies'? 2. Random placement Same as above, but place 8 shield-style tokens in the huts, numbers are not needed). Shuffle the deck. As soon as you enter a hut, remove the token and draw a card from the Worthless Equiment deck. Find your Princess -- ahh ... You found me! Random placement Variant: make a deck of 7 cards, 1 card is the Cimmerian beer mug, the rest is your own choice, but no other ranged-single use cards may be added to the deck (or tweak the scenario and add more single use ranged objects to the deck; in that case the Overlord may regenerate more gems in the Book of Skelos...). After you have succesfully entered 2 huts, shuffle the princess card into the deck. In this way, you cannot find the princess in the first two huts. Less luck, more skill, more fun! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Submitter ronveer Submitted 03/20/2018 Category Resources

  3. Playing cards for Modiphius geomorphic tiles View File Here is a set of 137 playing cards for the Modiphius geomorphic tiles. The intent is to allow players to use those cards for whatever "dungeon" or "terrain" generation rule you might come with. Some cards exhibit bold lines to highlight the location of doors to facilitate their use for dungeon-like generation. The original name of each tile as provided in Modiphius' PDF files (when you buy them) is provided in the bottom-right corner. A "-" in this name indicates a card where to tiles have been stitched together to reproduce a complete terrain on a same card. Per agreement with Modiphius, the resolution of the tiles is 15% percent of the originals so that those files cannot be used to reproduce the original terrains at full scale in a way that is playable. The proposed files are only meant to be printed on mini-sized cards. Below a snapshot of the included cards Submitter Edouard Le sec Submitted 01/18/2020 Category Resources

  5. The latest installment of my Savage Avengers series of scenarios for Conan by Monolith is available to download. This one is for the solo/ co-op mode found in the Monolith Sourcebook. Wolverine and Black Widow join Conan in the search for Bruce Banner, who has been compromised by what appears to be Stygian sorcery. Savage Avengers: Compromised is inspired by a Conan Vs. variant cover from The Immortal Hulk comic. When I saw it, I wondered how that fight would turn out. This series of scenarios is based on the Savage Avengers comic. My goal is to write a Conan scenario that can be played with regular Conan game content- but with a Marvel style storyline for those who may be interested and have buckets of old Heroclix sitting around. I match each Marvel character to a Conan character. For example, in Compromised, I use the Demon of the Earth to represent the Hulk. Niord, from the Nordheim expansion, is used to represent Wolverine. Ambidextrous and red defense dice are perfect for his claws and healing factor. So it works both ways- you can play it with your regular Conan content or you can swap in some Heroclix and go for the Savage Avengers vibe! Enjoy! Savage Avengers Compromised v2.pdf

  7. In the campaign The Legend of the Devil in Iron, the heroes must free a shady merchant, the Argossean Publio, from the city watch. Instead of a grey token, I chose to use a miniature by Fenryll, from the Inquisitor and suppliciers pack. Here is my Publio:
  8. An Unfortunate Interruption is sort of an outtake from Whispers From Stygia. Early on we wanted to include a couple of sidequests, to involve more authors and to add to the replayability of the campaign. The idea was nixed as we had our hands full with the core campaign. This has been written for a while and I just want to put it out there as an option to enhance Whispers From Stygia or to encourage you to give it another play through. Enjoy. 9. Hi there! Just created my first scenario using only the core box materials. It is called "from beyond the grave" and also is inspired by the Story Queen of the Black Coast. It is available on the Scenario editor. https://www.conan-scenarios.com/scenarioPage.php?MissionId=1391 I hope you like it. Let me know if you find it too unbalanced... if it is too easy in the latest version, giving Conan his sword instead of the battle axe makes it so much harder...
  10. I tried to make something different. A Conan game at its core with encounters. I have play tested until the hero was able to win it. It may still need some refinement but at this point I would love some outside feedback. Enjoy. If Everyone likes this I will start part two. Quest of Conan Part One.pdf

  12. This is a Campaign I create for the Queen of the Black Coast as a campaign. I tried to be as close a possible to the source material, and to do that I had to include an unofficial map to represent the jungle in which the ruins are located. You could download the map and print it from https://www.conan-scenarios.com/customMaps.php. Thanks to Franzi, the creator of such a gorgeous map, for doing it. Also, I would like to thanks to Rober E. Howard for creating this world, and as an homage to him, I used some quotes from the original story that better depict the scenarios. The campaign is made of 4 scenarios that are played in order. At the end of every one, the winning side gets an award for winning, but also, the losing side gets an award too. I used that system to create an artificial handicap so neither side feels he has already lost the campaign from the beginning. The resolution of the last scenario decides the winning side. I hope you enjoy it and all feedback is welcome. Queen of the Black Coast I.pdf Queen of the Black Coast II.pdf Queen of the Black Coast III.pdf Queen of the Black Coast IV.pdf
