Not Quite Dead
Well, feeling a bit lonely on this thread. Anyway, I've seen Vertigo (1958) years ago, but I didn't remember this special effect. For the easy one, I haven't got a clue, but I'll try, out of the blue, a famous movie in which there is a monster POV and where a scorpion tatoo could be legit. I'd say Predator (1987), but I think I'm mistaken.
Bawon Samdi
Both answers are correct !
Not Quite Dead
Oh boy I was lucky for Predator. New round: Easy movie: Difficult movie:
Not Quite Dead
Huh. It's been some time since I haven't post there. Maybe some clue may attract new players in this game, or give a hand (if needed) to old ones... The director of the first movie is Quentin Tarantino. The main actor of the second movie is Simon Pegg. Footballzs
I watched the easy one just recently but I can't recall the name.
Footballzs
I remember the easy one is The Hateful Eight.
Not Quite Dead
Yep! You're right! For the record, the difficult movie in my post was A Fantastic Fear of Everything (2012). Here's the trailer: It's your turn to propose an easy and a difficult movie. Edited August 15, 2017 by Not Quite Dead
Footballzs
Ok, never done this before, but here goes: Easy movie Hard movie
Footballzs
Have I had no response because it's too hard or because no one is reading this?
Not Quite Dead
I know what the easy one is, but have no idea for the second one. I was just waiting to let someone else answer if they has recognize the movies, but I can give my answer straight away if needed: The first one is The Blues Brothers (1980). Footballzs
Correct, the hard one was The Keep, an atmospheric but somewhat incoherent horror movie set in WWII. Info here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085780/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 I guess it's over to you but we seem to be the only ones on here!
Not Quite Dead
Indeed, the English-speaking forum of the Overlord is a bit too calm for my taste (for now). Anyway: Easy Movie: Difficult Movie:
Footballzs
Got me I'm afraid. No idea. Hopefully someone else knows.
Bawon Samdi
I know the first one but if I'm hoping for a clue for the second one.
Not Quite Dead
Clue for the easy movie (for @Footballzs or unexpected challengers that may not have recognized it): It's a movie directed by Miyazaki Hayao. Clue for the difficult movie: The protagonist of this recent horror movie is played by Steve Guttenberg.
Footballzs
Steve Guttenberg? Then not a high brow Arthouse movie then:-)
Footballzs
The hard one is Lavalantula. Still don't know the easy one. interesting that Miyazaki was involved in a television series called Future Boy Conan!
Not Quite Dead
You're right, @Footballzs! As stated in the rules, as you are the first one to give a proper answer, you get the points. The easy movie was Princess Mononoke (1997). Your turn! Bawon Samdi
Damned. When I looked for movies featuring giant spiders I ve found Laventula as the closest looking. Il should have make my guess then.

Not Quite Dead
No idea for the difficult one, but I try The Lost World by Harry O. Hoyt (1925) for the easy one.
