A: We want to get the development of the game to a minimum before we can announce a launch date. The idea is to get closer to a finished product when the campaign starts. Q: Do you plan to deliver Mythic Battles: Pantheon before launching the campaign of Batman The Board Game? A: Yes. Q: Where did your base inspirations come from for the Batman The Board Game? A: We were mainly inspired by the drawings of Jim Lee, David Finch and Greg Capullo from the narrative arcs "Silence", "The Dark Knight" and "The Court of the Owls". Other talented illustrators will also be on display. The game will therefore focus on the Comics facet rather than on video games or movies. Q: What is the game system of Batman The board game? A: The Batman the Board Game system is an evolution of the "tactical homeostatic system" (THS) created for Conan, by its author, to bring significant changes, but stick to the dark knight universe. Q: What are the main developments in the "THS" for Batman The Board Game? A: A seventh characteristic appears: intelligence, which will represent the ability to solve problems, hack computer equipment ... Heroes' Defense and Recovery actions are now captured like other actions. When "The Villain" (the Overlord in Conan) activates a unit, it is possible to flesh out an action and then its natural movement. Overlord units now have additional features like Manipulation or Intelligence. Two new dice emerge with a specific breakdown of successes to better represent certain actions. And many other evolutions! Q: Will Batman The board game will feature a 2 player mode? A: Yes, it is possible to play 2 players in a specific mode (called "versus mode") in which each player has a Vilain Book (provisional name) for controlling their troops and trying to achieve their goals, before their opponent. Q: Is it planned to make superheroes appear with superpowers in Batman The Board Game? A: No, superheroes with superpowers (like Superman ™ or Flash ™) would completely unbalance the game because of their unusual abilities. It would be impossible to oppose them with most of the characters in the Batman universe. Q: How many boards, scenarios and miniatures will be available in the base box (excluding Stretch Goals) from Batman The Board Game? A: The Batman The Board Game base box (excluding Stretch Goals) will feature 2 double-sided boards, 4 different environments, 8 scenarios and more than 100 figures. Q: Is there a cross-over between Conan and Batman The board game? A: No, even if Conan has crossed a lot of people in his career, it would be too far away from the two universes :) Q: Is it planned to market Batman The Board Game in stores? A: No, Conan's experience shows us that retail distribution at reasonable prices is not viable for the category of games we edit. Q: Will the miniatures from Batman The Board Game pre-painted? A: No, the miniatures from Batman The Board Game will not pre-painted as it is still a process which is not 100% satisfactory in terms of quality and production time. Q: In which languages does Batman The board game will be available? A: Batman the Board Game will be available in English and in French. Even if not pre painted, is the pre-shading could be an option ? as Mechs vs Minion or Lord of Hellas which just started on KS ...
