oOAntonioOo Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Fellows, I've been building a Foundry VTT system specifically for Monolith's Conan RPG and it's now available for download. It's called Blood and Steel. This is built from the ground up for the Hyborian Age RPG rule, Flex die, Stamina Points, the whole deal. What's in it: -Full character sheet with guided creation (hit the ? tab and it walks you through it) -GM toolkit ("Albert") with drag-and-drop enemy spawning from the full bestiary -Area-based distance encounter builder -Fully functional sheet: initiative from the sheet, weapons, attacks, armor, spells skills, recovery, stamina, life point tracking and so much more. -Complete sorcery system with all spells implemented, automated to work as easily as pushing a button. -Brand new Ground Breaking Threat Engine for procedural enemy difficulty, fully automated drag and drop the enemy to the VTT and they get a several random traits and abilities that require minimum GM brainpower to work. -Smart targeting: When damage is rolled, a skill or a spell with an effect they are loaded into the smart mouse targeting system. The GM then shift clicks it to the target and the system does the rest. -Works in Foundry VTT v11 through v13 How to install: In Foundry, go to Settings → Game Systems → Install System Paste this URL into the Manifest URL field at the bottom: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/antoniosantos8520-cyber/conan/main/system.json Click Install. That's it. It's fully playable right now. Still a work in progress — not all enemy art is packed in yet and not every enemy has been run through the Threat Engine — but everything functions and your players can make characters and start swinging swords tonight. YouTube tutorials for setup and how-to's are coming soon. It's free, open source (GPL v3), and built by a fan for fans. Feedback and bug reports welcome. oOAntonioOo Posted March 4 Author Posted March 4 Smome Some Images from the game, character sheets, a enemy card the old design the new one is cooler. A few other things. I plan on putting updates here in the future in hopes of tempting some people to try the game.
oOAntonioOo Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 "In the age-old tradition of the wandering bards and chroniclers who carried the deeds of heroes across a thousand kingdoms, there now walks a new keeper of tales. Not of parchment and quill alone — but of fire, image, and living story. What the sorcerers of Khitai hoarded in locked vaults, Howard carries freely to any table under any sky." HOWARD THE CHRONICLER — FREE ON FOUNDRY VTT Some of you build worlds in silence. Hours of notes, maps, journals — prep that never fully makes it to the table. Howard changes that. Howard the Chronicler is a free Foundry VTT module that lets you build a complete, playable Tale — and hand it to anyone ready to run it. Here's what you build: Scenes & Maps — Link your combat scenes directly to the pages of your tale. One click from the story to the fight. Enemies & NPCs — Tag them to specific pages. Drag them straight to the canvas when the moment comes. Skill Checks — Place them on the page where they happen. DC, skill, description — right there when you need it. GM Notes — Per page, per moment. Everything your GM needs is exactly where the story is. Comic Pages — Build panels, drop images, size them, layer them, write speech bubbles and caption boxes. No art skills needed. Put panel. Put image. Repeat. It looks like a comic because comic books are awesome and so is your table. Show Your Players — Reveal panels one at a time. Project the full page to the VTT canvas in Theater mode. Let them see the work you put in. Export Everything — One .htale file. Images, scenes, enemies, maps, notes — all of it. Send it to anyone. They import it, enable Howard, and they're ready to play. What you built is what they get. Save to PDF — Hand your players a copy of the session. Something they actually keep. This is not a journal plugin. This is not a notes app. This is your campaign, your story, your world — delivered like it deserves to be. Howard the Chronicler. Free. Ready. Go forge your Tales. "I have crossed the Vilayet Sea and the Zuagir wastes — but I have never seen a tale told like this." 1
