[Tutorial for Beginners] How to paint fire

On the French Community Forum, Igor had a brilliant idea: to replace the Reinforcement tokens by the Torch Stands of the Stretch Goals. I could beat myself to not have thought about that earlier.

As a beginner painter, this has left me with a difficulty: how to paint fire? Here are two tutorials that may come handy for inexperienced people like me:

Fire has to be done as an exercise in reverse highlight, starting with Orange for the broadest bits working all the way up to a very thin black at the top. I have done it before on Warhammer Fantasy Flagellants.

 

Duncans tutorials tend to be simple and good for this kind of thing.
