Darth Hideous Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Does any of you Conan masterminds know what skin color Khosatral Khel has? Is it human skin with a metal glow? Or is it iron or?
Bawon Samdi Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 It was also a matter of debate on the french forum. The story doesn't clearly state that KK's flesh looks different, just that it's really hard. Hitting his flesh is like hitting steel (or Iron) but that doesn't mean that the flesh itself looks like steel. Actually, since Conan seems genuinely surprised by the impact of his first blow, we can assume that the flesh looks natural and gives no reason to suspect its supernatural resilience. But also it's very dark so who knows ? I really think that there is enough gray area to give you full artistic license. 3
Darth Hideous Posted September 21, 2017 Author Posted September 21, 2017 Thats the big "problem" - haha - I like all 3 (human, metal and human with metal twist). Just wished the fuld game would go retail (know it wont happen), so I could do all 3 versions
Bawon Samdi Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 You will find some examples here: https://the-overlord.com/index.php?/topic/308-peindre-khosatral-khel/ Most people seems to choose the "human with a metal twist" option. Mine: 4
Darth Hideous Posted September 21, 2017 Author Posted September 21, 2017 Looks great! I really like your evil wizard those eyes I cant wait to get my all in
Matt John S Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Khel's skin does not look Iron, IMO. If it did, Howard would have described its metallic sheen. It's hard as Iron, but he looks like a big man. 1
Epaka Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 I agree with with both Bawon and Matt on this. He’s probably not metallic looking, but you should feel free to do whatever you want with your minis. I’ve seen some absolutely amazing Khel minis that were done in a metallic hue. I went with a mottled flesh color, so mine looks kinda like a zombie. :/ Not thrilled with my fairly sloppy effort, and I’ve pondered stripping him and trying again... I’ll post up mine in the painting section shortly. 3
