Ryan27184
Here my khostral khel, I did consider doing him with red flesh as in the devil in iron in the conan the slayer series by dark horse but choose this color scheme instead.
Epaka
I happened upon a pic of Khel from way back when. He was pretty early on in my Conan mini painting adventures, and I would almost like to take another stab at him actually. At the very least I’d like to add some red eyes now... Meh, as always, I’m painting for the game board, not a museum.
Not Quite Dead
On the Khosatral Khel topic on the French-speaking forum, there was a debate between people in order to know if this character should be painted with a metallic or a classic carnation colour. Some argued that, in the novel by REH, Khostral's flesh was really looking like a natural skin, others thought that it would be interesting to show that Khostral isn't just a colossus, but a creature of metal (brass in the French version rather than iron) and magic. When painting it, I choose to follow the latter: Curious to see more Khosatral Khel on this very board.

garbetsp
I went for Alice Cooper eyes. He moonlights in a glam rock band. 2

I wanted to paint him metal, but couldn't gather up the courage, so I blended flesh color and metal together. I'm not really happy with the result. Looking at yours, I think I might go back and redo him. 2
