Compendium Late pledge FLUENT

I would like to know about the shipping service before ordering, as to Spain, Magazines 2 and 4 plus shipping cost a total of 19$. I had no problem when I ordered number 1 and 3 from Philibert, but the first magazine I ordered came all bent (thats why I bought it again), as seen here:

Hello, currently this magazine is only accessible for France and the US. So forcing the 300 dolls for Australia is an aberation since it is not deliverable down there.
This compendium is not available on Philibert.
The price we charge for this magazine is based on real fdp. This is truncated by shops that can easily practice low fdp.
I advise you if you are however interested in this magazine to group you if necessary.

The magazine is only available for  purchase in the EU and US, The 300 dollar shipping cost to send a copy of the magazine to Australia, is an glitch in fluent's code, the code defaults to the highest possible shipping cost instead of flagging that the product is unavailable in that part of the globe.

This new edition of the Overlord is not available through the Philibert webstore.

The cover price for the magazine reflects Monoliths production costs.

Group purchases are recommended to reduce shipping costs.

@kpitaine-crochet

Are there ever any plans to make this available via PDF or other format?   I do not really need (or even prefer) a printed copy (or could always print it myself if needed).

It makes it much more feasible if shipping is not needed.

Matt John said at the comments of the Batman KS page that he will look what can be done about a PDF version.

I am also really confused and upset by this.

The last update I got was "We are sorting this out and will update you", then I come back to find out there has been no update and it's all over. No option for pdf, no option to get it shipped anywhere; nothing.

I have avidly collected and played all the Conan stuff, and was eager to move onto Batman (which finally arrived yesterday), but it seems that being able to get everything is well and truly blocked. I could have got stuff shipped to the US or Europe and forwarded on, but I took ML at their word there was a solution coming...

Monolith was very straightforward about the offer. The pledge manager was only going to be open for a short time, and they responded to the demand for a PDF version by making that an option. People complained about the cheap shipping on the first Compendiums, so they offered better shipping with tracking this time, so people complained about the price, and thusly they absolutely DID offer a cheap PDF option. Now people are finding new things to be upset over?  It really seems that Monolith can only do wrong by some as they try to offer after-campaign support for their games. What exactly is the complaint here?

My complaint is I got a message saying "Whoops the shipping is $300, that's a mistake and we are working on a solution; don't order and we will let you know when we have the solution. In the meantime here is a pdf option, but there will be a solution." Then there wasn't a solution.

I would have ordered the pdf if I had known the offered solution wasn't actually going to eventuate, but I wanted the physical because it supposedly was coming with cards and stuff, and printing cards that match the game stock is really expensive in the places that this wasn't shipping to.

I would happily have paid $20 shipping for this thing, even possibly $30 because I like the products; the complaint is just I was waiting for the next update which didn't happen and then it was suddenly too late.

Ah, I see. That is a bummer for all the fans outside of the US and Europe. The end date was clear from the outset, but I agree that as we approached April 19th Monolith should have openly communicated that they did not find a better shipping option for other territories, if only to help remind people that they’d need to at least order their PDF version before the deadline.  Hopefully more new issues are produced in the future and then Monolith can again offer all the issues to backers/fans. Communication is key, and I concur that Monolith could always improve on that front.

I would have paid a lot (but less than $ 300) for a physical copy of 2 and 4. But I was not even given the option. And now I do not even get a pdf. How about someone post the pdf of magazine 4? That way I have something while wait to get a physical copy.
