Djimne
Please ask here any questions about specific rules for the scenario "The wrath of Anu" by David Bertolo. You can find this scenario there, on Monolith's website. (Please go hither for any questions specifically related to Inn map)
Mac
So it is possible for the hero in this scenario to win without ever fighting Thak's. I played this evening and the first priest interrogated was the lowest number and with the Reinforcements Special Rule limiting the number of reinforcements; Conan simply hacked his way through with the aid of an explosive orb found in the first treasure chest. Fun but kind of anti-climatic.
Rafael Simão
Hello. I had some doubts playing this scenario: 1. When I use the Event Tile and it says to move a Guard Tile to the end of the River and put your miniatures on the board does this use Reinforcement tokens? 2. Does Conan need to positively interrogate the lowest value Priest and leave the door? 3. How many guards can there be on the board? thank you
Roolz
1- You put a new Guard tile (from the box) at the end of the river, with 2 guard minis associated. This doesn't require reinforcement points. The 2 new guards arrive on reinforcement entries (flame tokens on bottom & top-left of the board, the top-left can only be used once). 2- Yes. Note that if he kills the priest during interrogation (3 successes on die), he doesn't know if he was the "right" one until he has left the inn. 3- Mmmm. You can have 4 guards tiles maximum. 2 tiles on start of the game,+2 with special event. Each is associated with 2 minis. So I'd say 8 guards minis max, technically. However Conan will kill several of them, so chances that 8 guards minis are present at the same time are close to zero, IMO. pensareadaltro
HI! In the "Interrogation" special rule, the French rulebook says that, to get the red die roll, Conan must move a gem to the melee combat area. In the English rulebook it is instead indicated that the gem (taked from Reserve) must be moved to the Fatigue zone. Which of the two versions is the correct one? Another question is about the special rule called Thak's Fury. In the english version the rule said that Thak isn't already on the board from the start of the game. So when the Event Unleashed happens "the Overlord places the Thak model in the area". In french version seems that Thak is already on the board and, in that case, if Conan comes in the area, the effect is the same of Unleashed. So Thak is on the board from the turn 1 or not? Thank you. D' Edited September 10, 2020 by pensareadaltro
