  1. I really love Jacob's Ladder. I saw it several years ago and it became a cult classic for me.

Well, that's not simple to know what's easy and what is not. For now, I will stick to UK/US movies and delve into arcane foreign movies another time. :orthopuristes:

    The easy one:

    The hard one:

  2. 2 players - hard - Strech Goal, Tiger, Crossbowmen

    https://www.conan-scenarios.com/scenarioPage.php?MissionId=714

The scenario is focused on Akishava versus Zaporavo, Olgred and Taurus (+Amboola for a 4 heroes game). And there is a Tiger and few crossbowmen ! I guess the Tiger may be replaced by a bunch of hyennas or wolves. The issue is that there are not many monsters with :saut: ...

The story: Zaporavo is boarding a drifting ship. Unfortunately, the ship is home of a voluptuous vampiress. Akivasha is eager to mesmerize Zaporavo since qhe had recently drained all the blood of ship's captain. She needs a new one !

Gamewise, i'm exploring some alternate use of the event tiles. Here i used them to simulate Akivasha super powers and her bloodlust: activating an event = activating a power chosen among a short list and events are easier to activate if there are a lot deads around Akivasha. There is also a rule used by Akivasha to enthrall a weakened Zaporavo and finally few generic rules (Leaps, Chests).

The first draft was way too unbalanced in favor of the heroes. I have recently changed a lot of things to favor Akivasha but didn't put them into test yet. Any comments and ideas are more than welcome.  Also english is not my native language so feel free to correct me.

  3. I was thinking about the different kinds of lotus too but I have to read a few things before get it right.

Good idea for :alchimie:. So far this skill is useless so it might be a good idea to include it into drugs mechanics.

  4. As there are no real poison rules, I was wondering what kind of game mechanics can we introduce to mimic the effect of different kinds of poisons and drugs ? here are a few ideas:

Paralysing poison: at the start of each Heroes turn, add +1 to the heroe's encumbrance level. The hero dies when he reaches his encumbrance limit due to poison only.

Toxic poison: at the start of each Heroes turn, roll :jaune:, :orange: or :rouge: (depending of the poison's toxicity) with no reroll. The character takes as many damages as success rolled.

Anticoagulant: as long as the poison takes effect, each time the hero suffer damages from any source, add one damage.

Alcohol: -1 to the exertion limit oh all hero's actions. If the character possesses any of the following skills, he loses the ability to use them: :riposte::inssaisissable::crochetage::lanceur_sort:

Sleeping drug: the hero recovers one less gem with an aggressive stance and two less gems with a cautious stance

    any other ideas ?

  5. With an abundance of cards and markers required to play, an X-Winf game can become messy. Several companies already provides dashboards to help keep everything clean:

I personnaly tried to do it myself, thanks to the Conan game box. The punchboard, once all the tiles are removed, is a good starting point:

With a box cutter and some white glue ...

    DSCN4881.JPGDSCN4879.JPG

... you can make your own dashboard

Notice that i had to add a small piece of cardbord in each area otherwise the card may be stuck and really hard to remove.

    Field tests:

Maybe not as fancy as mdf ones but good enough to move from table to table during a tournament.
