  1. My thoughts for your consideration. MAP This map is much bigger than the official ones, I'd say bigger areas should be further divided. For the monolith field, we already have the special rule to "hide" within using movement tokens. The earth wall should be its own area, same as the tavern bar and would provide cover. Stones on stone hill and princess hill should be their own area and provide cover. Altar should be its own area and work as a table in the tavern map. Stakes/palisades should be their own area and be impassable terrain.
  2. The OL victory conditions already force him to move his units to engage the heroes. Also, the OL can only move 2 tiles per turn, it would be unfair to add a penalty for not moving all units in all the turns.
  3. Nope, basis is the same. It's just the preview here in the forum.
  4. I've made a small improvement on the stand-ups, now both faces are symetrical, so the white background can be removed if desired.
  5. IMPORTANT UPDATE We have our own folder in the Downloads section!!! From now on, please upload all files related to our project there. Also, existing files such the map should be deleted and uploaded there. Edited: I suggest all files related with the scenario have the prefix "BotM -" so it would be easy to identify them. Thanks @SentMa !!
  6. MAP Perhaps zone 23 is a bit big. In our scenario we don't want riders to arrive too soon to the monolith field, plus would need many zones to place items and traps. If possible, I'd divide zone 23 in 3. STAND-UP Thanks for printing! Do you think the size is right, or perhaps a bit bigger would be better?
  7. Looks absolutely amazing!!! Great job @Florentin !!!
  8. First stand-up. What do you think?
  9. @Xaltotun please wait before preparing the tiles for upload. If you take them directly from here, there is some quelity loss, as they are smaller than the actual size. I'll upload them to Dropbox and send you the link. Also, I've asked @SentMa if it would be possible to create a specific folder to upload everythiing regarding our project in the Downloads/Resources section. I think it would be messy for potential players to have to hunt down every single file we upload, to collect them all in order to play. And the other option, uploading a single huge file, doesn't seem any better. MAP @Florentin, how are you doing with the map? If you want, you can add the last touches (the newly discovered stairs) and then send it to me.
  10. Black Guards. I know colors seem a bit off, but I've taken from the official PDF from Monolith with the King level content, so they should be fine once printed.
  11. I've started with color tiles. I think two color variants for each cavalry tile would be enough. Since there are five colors plus the default, thing goes as follows: - Fangs: Neutral brown and blue. - Riders: Yellow and purple. - Guardas: Red and green. More to come...
  12. I'd made this one: Regarding tiles, I have to make color variants.
  13. Yes! I'll change the tile name and upload all of them to the Download section.
  14. It's true we need the map as soon as possible. I can make the modifications over the weekend in a couple hours, all I need is the latest version of the map in jpg format. If it's too big to be sent by mail, it can be shared using Dropbox or any other file hosting service. Would you agree to that?
  15. For the Temple Guards, they'll appear on foot in a guard role in many scenarios (I'll use them when Conan meets Valeria in Rexor's tower for example). What about "Zealots"? After all they're fanatic warriors serving Doom's cult.
  16. Agreed, but in this case I think this is pretty precise. -Altar Hill (it would be behind Conan's back) , Monolith field and three stones Hill form a line. -earth wall is to the right of the monolith field, starts before the monolith field, ends about the same point of the monolith field. -princess hill starts right after the monolith field. Can we agree on that?
  17. Nice finding! But these are just concept sketches and what we see in the film is slightly different. For example, altar Hill and three stones Hill are at the opposed extremes of the monolith field.
  18. I was going to propose a bigger map, keeping everything we have at the current scale (adding more "surrounding area", not making anything bigger). This way we can move princess hill to the right and have more distance between hills. I'll make a new sketch.
  19. If you're going to finish the map, I'll do the raiders tokens. Please send me the measurements of the oval base for mounts (length and width). We have two alternatives for this: - Make oval base tokens with horses seen from above, to place miniatures on them. -make paper stand up "miniatures" with the tiles illustrations. Problem with this is that some illustrations don't have enough quality to be printed at a bigger size. Something like this: What do you prefer?
  20. Your map is great, but I'm afraid I'm a perfectionist and I can't help it. I don't mind making these small adjustments in the map myself, if you don't mind.
  21. Yes, I was speaking about the position of the princess hill regarding the monolith field. it seems to me the princess Hill should be closer to the three stones Hill, as proposed in my map sketch. The some on the hilltop the princess is tied to should be rotated, facing the monolith fields. This way an arrow coming from the altar hill would hit the stone side just like the movie. I'll make another sketch with this small adjustment to explain myself better.
  22. @Xaltotun this is Subotai climbing the mound where the Princess is tied, at the end of the battle when Doom is aboutto fire his snake-arrow: We can see the monolith field ends before the hill.
  23. 1) I'll check out the battle again, could that shot was missleading. 2) I'm liking best the second. What do you think? 3) Yes, but no idea where to find it. 4) i guess 2 would be ok.
  24. Pending things with tiles: - Chose a name for the "Temple Guards" - Chose an illustration among the two propposed. - Add reinforcement cost to the tile. MAP I've compared this shot with our map (I've rotated the map so we have the same point of view): Now, I can be wrong, but I think there are a few details we could change. Making a quick sketch, I've came up with this: Probably, the mound where the Princess is tied should a bit more to the left. @Florentin what do you think?
