I'm trying to count the dead, but unfortunately I found what I expected to:
4 horned riders (in order of appearance):
and some incongruence...
and here's finally the one marked as "1" in the previous post...
TOTAL: 3... or 4?
And as I told you, the standard bearer on his last appearance, galloping behind Throgrim.

Hallo! Here's the first amount...
See the picture below for the 5th rounded helmet (blue); I marked again 2 Fangs (red 4 & 6) just to help you recognize the: mind that between the 2 scenes there's a bit sliding of riders on the right sides.
I can try to verify my numbers counting (and recognizing) the dead along the battle sequence... accepting there's no cut scene.
DOOM
REXOR
THORGRIM
1 Standard Bearer
1 Horned Helmet
6 Fangs of Set5 Rounded Helmet
There's probably other horned helmets...

Here's a first rider from the final battle...
What do you think of or for Akiro?
PS: this is one of the servants carrying the big pot in the famous scene

I think ink they are around 15: 5 fangs and probably 10 or less of the others, but I check exactly later
I suggest this name: Riders of Doom
it recalls the soundtrack
The idea could be 1 tile for Fangs and 2 for riders of doom...

Hi guys!
I'm back to life after a couple of days of deadly hard working. I'm really exhausted!
About monolith rows I think it's better to try to divide the map first, since this is mostly a matter of areas.
Anyway, I think we could also add some (other) special rule for e scenario: I like this game because basic rules are simple, but almost every scenario has his own special rules; that's more true for extensions.
Yes we have new rules for mounted troops, but this more a new game system than a pack of rules for a single scenario. So I think we could have definitely no problem in introducing some special area rules expecially for this scenario.
@Arthadan I'll check the movie and send you the exact amount of doom riders.
In my past posts in this tread you can find all the best images I could capture for riders.

Thorgrim had the solution: dismount from horses and attack the heroes; passages between monolith could be only passagges as said: an hero couldn't stop there, or could do only when resting.

@Xaltotun: If you show us your pictures, I'll show pictures of unspeakable things I made from those mini when I was a teenage boy and when I used to convert miniatures. Goblins armed with gigantic knives! Ambidextrous Orcs! And one thousand elephants!
On a different topic, here's a kinda funny video I just saw about Heroquest:
As I'm at my parents I'll make some...
Believe me, horrible works from a 13 years old boy...

I have just read all the discussion about the panoply !
Honestly, I just decided for the panoply for simple reasons:
1) a token for items/weapons was (supposed to be) needed, so how to represent this kind of equipment? The helmet was just a symbol, but it seemed to me that you could have preferred something more iconic; so weapons or an image with confused equipment... or?...
2) so the panoply with the same weapons used in the battle seemed the best solution to represent what the token would have referred to, in a way that could have been half symbolic and half iconic.
That's all. Then I just answered about the panoply just to say that a panoply could have been barbaric too: it's a very ancient use...By the way, I like very much the other one too, and find it appropriate for token suitable for equipment, traps and decoys; mine would probably be more suitable for weapons/equipement only.
Anyway I still have the image and, in case, it can be used as an ornamental object on the rulebook or as a token elsewhere or, as @Florentin said, personalizing the scenario; but it can be difficult to offer too much material to choose from. Eventually, we could just make an extra file - outside the rules - with some variants.
Now I'll have a break. 'Night guys!- 1

Ok: it wasn't so clear to me. It's almost like I purposed it once.
Yes, the monolith/ skeleton token is ok for me.
Anyway I made the Panoply with the weapons used in the scenario (apart the 2 swords)... I think it's on theme: Howard's world is a civilized world (ok some exceptions) where the barbarian moves. If I'm not wrong panoplies were used in ancient cultures, both classical and germanic, for ex. after the battles, made with weapons of the defeated enemies, like some kind of trophy...
Obviously mine is a fantasy composition...

I'm not quite sure if the front side of the traps is same as items. I don't think: so it means that 2 tokens could be put in some areas. Right?
I guess this was the only one pending, so here's the front side of the items tokens: I decided for a panoply with all the weapons. I prefer the second one.Do you like it? Is it ok for you?

Does it mean that some of the tokens would be filled with heroes pictures and traps ?
No, it was an attempt for tokens to use when an hero squeezes through the monoliths... @Arthadan will do them, anyway.

I ask myself if it wouldn't be easier if we add on the trap token directly the damages ?
Or do you prefer to have a list where damages depends of the scenario ?
In my opinion there are 2 options:
1) pre-determinated damages for each trap --> in this case we can add them directly to the tokens;
2) Determinate the damages by rolling the dice (from no damages to death) --> in this case we can decide different kind of damages for each kind of trap, or different ways to determinate damages, depending on the trap.

Honestly I remember a scene during Conan & Subotai dig a trench, but not a sequence in which someone fall in... Could it be only a defence work, instead of a trap?

AMBUSH IN THE STANDING STONES
If the last action a hero performs is a movement ending within the monolith field:
- the miniature is taken out of the board and replaced by two hero numbered tokens (1 and 2).
- the player gets to move both counters withing the monolith fields spending the same amounth of movement points.
- the players choses secretly which one is the real hero.
- In the OL turn, when an enemy unit enters an area with a hero token, the token is removed (if it wasn't the hero) or replaced with the miniature (if it was the hero).
Ok. I tried to rearrange the helmet tokens in this way: I definitely have not fallen in love with this token and maybe you prefer something more elaborate; it's just a starting point to understand the direction to follow. Made some number more... never knows...

"Really" is for what ? Does "Really" deal with the idea to make a tile for the pit trap ?
Sorry: I meant: Is there a pit trap? You mean the one they dig with their shields...?

There is a pit trap in the movie too ! Do not know how to create it ? A token too or an other thing ? A tile ?
Really??

However I'm not sold in the helmet as the face-up because these tokens are also for traps, so maybe something more generic than the helmet? Perhaps a monolith or a skeleton face?
Ok. I had thought about the helmet thinking about a symbol could have work for both the equipment and the trap that killed Thorgrim... Anyway your face up token is very good for me.
