I have received these CDs yesterday... I'm a little disillusioned!

CD1 & CD2 have more pieces of music than the first CD of the 82's soundtrack.

This is a good thing but  a lot were modified by Poledouris...and I don't like them...because they don't match at all with the spirit of the movie !

I would like to use the best images from the movies for tiles, is someone know a specific tool in order to visualize all the images of a movie and select one of them ?

I generally found easier to experiment on several bn/patterns prints, printing them in several copies and working with my pencil in spare time, at work, on the train, before using brushes or pc.

I thought (once ended in a good bn!) to scan it and send it to you, thinking it'd have been easier to work with a bn material, to print even single parts, increasing them, testing until they fit the real miniature game on the table before working on the real map.

I'm sorry but I do not like the calvincustom because I find them not having the right size and often the characters & armors are different from the original model in the movie!

I found them for a long time on the Net but to my mind they are inappropriate so I prefered to not consider them!

The only thing that could be used is the horse of thorgrim!

Once the Conan the Barbarian campaign ended I thing that we would face many tracks of works for those who would stay motivated and would still have time left.:

- maybe improve the quality of campaign: better maps, better miniatures, better rules....?

-maybe work on a Conan the destroyer campaign? And improve it!

-maybe work on new scenarios we did not see in the movies but could had occured ! So maybe, new rules for the Overlord could be done as for example management of Wind and water force, special events as traps and environement weakness: holes that appear, too old cave ceillings that fall on heroes...And heroes that do their best to access to a specific place!  These new mechanisms could allow to live all the movies most important scenes even when Conan or other heroes are alone...

Other one, but that would enlarge the fellowship could be to illustrate  (as it was begun by some other fans) the REH novels with scenario and new miniatures if possible! 

And comics collections too ! 

I wanted to share some ideas with you! 

Now, I come back to the battle of the mounds scenario!

@Matt John S,  on the one hand I find this funny but  on the other hand some scenes are very good! 

Do not know how much they spend to do this but it was a lot of work! 

Moreover, I have forgotten this comics until now! I'm going to look at it to see if there are some useful pictures for the project ???

In the movie on the DVD, I hate the scene when Conan spoke about his life to Subotai !

First time I heard this, because  of terror, my mouth opened automatically and my chewingum fall on my knees! What a shame! They killed in 30s the power of Conan!

Now each time I see the movie I accelerate when the movie is at this scene !

I keep my old videotape recorder only to have a Conan version without this scene !

Nice miniature @Arthadan! Where does it come from?  Which size ? 75 mm?

Before to work on this, it will be better to wait because @Xaltotun knows how to extract beautiful pictures from the movie! Maybe he has a blue Ray player on his compter? It would be better to have the right face of Conan & Subotaï!

We have all activities and a life out of the Overlord & the project and even  if it is sad to say the project is not the priority !

I have those pictures for Subotai, Valeria  & Conan maybe they could be useful?

For Subotai different hero Tiles what we would need are pictures ! And at this first step for the battle of the mounds some pictures with a spear/a sword or his bow !

For Conan it would be great too to have a hero card with his full battle of the mounds armor even if there is already the one cretaed by @jpuglio

Sure it's better to make a choice: I like the idea of 6 scenarios + 1 for each. My only doubt is: Sure you don't want to include Valeria as a third player? Girl players would love her... and not them only!

I'm totaly agree with you @Arthadan !

I want to avoid absolutely the decisions that kill initiatives and generate frustrations but advices and point of view can be given by all! And as you said people that do the job do what they want! 

You did a wonderful and important work! 

I think it is important that those that want to create their own vision could do this if they have time and energy! 

After it is better if they are not alone to believe in the new idea they propose but if not that doesn't mater, this post is a place for all ideas even the worst !
