Neat! Impressive miniature, looks great in colours. Although I don't own MBP and don't plan to, I highly second your idea to have one thread for each miniature. When I paint something for Conan, I really like to have a look on this board and on the French-speaking one in order to see how other people painted their miniature. It's an easy way to get inspiration or to have a preview of various colour schemes.

And here's the miniature replacing the final meeple: the Ghost. I found it at Reaper Miniatures. It may be a bit tall for that game, but I was looking for a ghost without a weapon, and when I stumbled upon that miniature, I found it so gorgeous that I bought it right away. Well, instead of one ghost, the adventurer will have to escort to its tomb a horde of skellies. Good enough. Painting on translucent plastic was quite stressful. I couldn't make mistake without grabbing a cutter in order to scrub away the excess of paint and it was sometimes tedious. I wasn't sure about what I would do with the flames/smoke, and I finally went for an edge of light green, but didn't apply shades. They were messing too much with transparency and added a kinda dirty look to the flames, that displeased me. In my opinion, those edges add to the readability of the miniature, so I'll stick with it, even if it isn't as neat as I wished. It will look good enough on the tabletop. -
I always prime outside, which force me from time to time to wait days to do it, due to the temperature, as I always feared that priming inside was bad for lungs. Do you wear a mask or something?

Hi there and welcome, Tony! Since two years now, I use Molotow Premium Spray to prime my miniatures. I like them better than the Citadel one who had sometimes strange effects when I was priming when the weather was too hot. I have currently a 400ml spray can Grey Blue Middle (#226, Art.-Nr. 327178) but you can pick any color that suits you better. They've got varnish too, if you plan to use one after you've painted your miniatures. Mine is called clear coat matt (#253, Art.-Nr. 327313).

Guess who's on a painting spree? Now, the ghost miniature will very likely require more time than the previous one. -

Can you teleport away from a blocking creature?
Not Quite Dead replied to Wraithminion's topic in General
Well, @garbetsp, seems like you're right after all. We somehow missed that last sentence of the last page of every rulebook of the game. My Zelata/Hadrathus player is going to kill me. -
Can you teleport away from a blocking creature?
Not Quite Dead replied to Wraithminion's topic in General
Well, I'm not sure I agree with you on that point, @garbetsp. You're right when you say that casting a spell isn't affected by hindering, but blocking has nothing to do with hindering. On the Movement Skills card, the description of the blocking states that: So I'd say that only characters with the evasive skill (which is useful against hindering and blocking) may leave the area where an enemy with the blocking skill. In any other case, the enemy creature with blocking must be killed (or leave the area) in order to move your character, and teleportation cannot help you to flee an enemy with blocking. Well, my players and I have always understood that rule that way. Maybe we're wrong, though. -

The second miniature for the White Meeple is a young aviator. Not sure she will get along well with the old geezer I previously painted. -
Hi there! I've just finished painting Kerim Shah, the prince of Iranistan. I'm looking forward to take a peek at yours!

Impressive beast. I like the transition between the dark paws and the sand color of its body. Nice base, by the way!

Amazing work, Epaka. I'm specially fond of HP Lovecraft's bust. -

Hi there! I've just finished the second version of the Black Meeple. Both will be male, sadly, but I managed to have one woman and one man for each other color. Now, I have to make the base of the last five miniatures. -
Hi there! After quite a long hiatus, I came back to Conan and the painting of its miniatures. That fellow was waiting on a shelf since September last year. I'm glad I managed to finish its paintjob.

I tried it, but wasn't quite happy with the result, so I guess I'll stick with the toothbrush.

I love your small scorpions. Do you remember by any chance which colors you used for them? -

Wow. This one is really cool, @garbetsp. The colors are great and the wings and the claws are stunning.
