  1. Sounds good, but shipping to the EU would probably be a killer as boards are both big and heavy. Perhaps shipping all together and then distribute them within Europe from a single location would be cheaper. Or finding another similar printing service in the EU. Thing with maps based on original REH stories is that sooner or later they will have an official version because that's what Monolith's license covers. Not trying to derail from the original Zamora streets map, but since I already have a Conan the Barbarian project Link on the works, it needs custom maps and that's beyond the scope of Monolith's license I'm quite interested in this. Perhaps we could run a poll with different maps to know which one generates more interest?
  2. @Xaltotun thanks for your interest! So far we are not considering hero development because the slave and gladiator periods don't offer much gaming opportunities, and because we prefer to have all 3 heroes in all scenarios. Perhaps a experience system similar to the one featured in the Devil in Iron could be implemented, allowing heroes to get new skills and gems for a common pool, but it's to early to be certain. Regarding tiles, we'll be using @jpuglio stats for heroes and main villains as he's fine with that, replacing the illustrations. You can check out his work in the Download section. I'll make a post later with: - Preliminary list of scenarios. - Minion Tiles needed. - Ally Tile needed (Akiro). - Proxy miniatures. If you want to help us with the tiles, you are more than welcome! Depending on your graphic skills, you can work out the stats and skills and I'll add the graphic or you can make the whole tile. Better to let us know the stats you have in mind before working on the tile, so we can discuss if they fit the film and the role we have in mind for that character/unit in the scenarios. The style we are after is getting as close as we can to the official tiles, not an easy task! Regarding priority order, we need first tiles used in The Battle of the Mounds, because getting this scenario done is our first milestone.
  3. And if you meant the last KS (Book of Set), it's the same edition. When the game was released there were two different pledge levels initially: - Barbarian (same as retail) : one big box without any stretch-goals. - King: the same box with expanded content plus another big box full of stretch goals. Monolith has released a pack with all you need to play any scenario designed for the King Content using a Barbarian / retail box (using proxy miniatures). You can find the conversion pack in the Download section. About the 2019 KS we only know for sure it will have an OL vs. OL mode which will be introduced in the upcoming Batman game.
  4. According to the dragon description in Red Nails, it should have a barrel-like body, four short legs, a long neck and an alligator mouth (but bigger). I've been looking for a proxy and haven't found a good one either.
  5. At $5 it would be 30 people. Maybe some modest crowfunding could be made and make the map available with and without zones, so it can be used in other games as well. At that price, counting with the French community as well, I think is doable.
  6. A map without scenarios is of no use, and unofficial maps are less appealing for making scenarios because you are forcing people to print that single map for your scenario. So unless you can add (or find people to make a collaborative effort) and provide no less than 4 scenarios to make it worth it, it's not very appealing. That said, the completionist in me wants it badly. In the end it all depends on the price, I'd say.
  7. I'm not sure we need Akiro. After all his role in the battle is providing the weapons and armours but during the battle itself, he makes some clumsy attacks and he doesn't cast a single spell. I think an Ally tile would suffice because a hero sheet true to the film wouldn't be very appealing to play with.
  8. And one more, Valeria! As the previous one, these are the original stats by jpuglio.
  9. Our aim is to offer a free fan-made campaign based on the film Conan the Barbarian, including hero sheets, equipment cards, spells, enemy tiles, maps and any other material we deem necessary. However we are focusing on creating a single scenario first and take it from there. As a fan project with no profits whatsoever involved, I understand it is fair use of the images. I will include a disclamer in the file with the hero sheets when I have all them ready and zipped for download. Different versions of the characters can only be enriching for the community, so I think it's great to have them! Edited: Regarding stats, is not sure as this point that we change them. They look spot on, but we'll know for sure when we're done playtesting.
  10. @jpuglio has kindly created a PDF file you can find in the Download section with hero sheets for the main characters a tiles for the main villains. Thanks man! With his permission, we will replace the illustrations and tweak the stats for this project. The Conan hero sheet is just a preview, before we adjust skills and stats.
  11. @craig guess you've seen already the book of Set is available again and this time there are no limited copies.
  12. What time does the KS starts?
  13. Letting my imagination run wild, how cool it would be to have roof tokens for the buildings in the Zamora expansion? Thieves running on the roofs, entering the houses.
  14. I don't think so, the Book of Set will be printed for this Kickstarter, it would make no sense to cut down your sales line that. Maybe what you read was referred to the Devil in Iron campaign book?

    Conan in Spain

    Any barbarians in Madrid?
  16. Short answer is no, scenarios are tailored for a specific group of heroes. Long unofficial answer is you can change heroes for another of the same kind (i.e. changing Conan for other warrior), but you have to be careful with relevant skills for the scenario. And of course you may have some balance issues. Edited: Check out this post from another forum, it has pretty good guidelines: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1679802/comments-how-use-your-alternative-heroes
  17. I guess this "agha" would be some kind of narcotic with little use in combat.
  18. And one more, besides the regional supplements, a parallel line of expansions consisting of campaigns in the same box format, based on REH stories. Who wouldn't get a Red Nails box? Edited: Now that I think about it, I think they should release a "campaing box" for 3 player, other for 4 players and another for 5 players (heck, even a 2 players with solo mode would work). So no matter the size of your gaming group, you'll get one. And then, I'd inlude the adaptation of the campaing scenarios to be played as stand-alone ones.
  19. I think you cannot move from a water area to a platform (unless stated in the scenario). In some scenarios you can jump over the water, from platform to platform of you have the Jump skill, but that's it.
  20. A free reroll affects a single dice. Let's say you roll And you are happy with the result of one dice but you want to reroll the other. After rerolling you still get a poor result and you want to reroll again. In this case you cannot use the free reroll of the other dice (even if it's the same color) to reroll a second time, you'll need to spend gems. After the initial roll, including free rerolls if any, you can spend as many gems as you want to reroll dice ( heroes and Overlord alike). Of course if you have rolled to attack and your opponent has rolled to defend, you can't spend any more gems to reroll your attack dice. You can do that only during your attack roll. At least this is how I understand it.
  21. Some more things I'd like to see: Scenarios for 8-9 players using two linked maps. Edited: linking that with my previous suggestion of a forest map, what about a pictish expansion with more variety of warrior types (clan specific) a bosonian fortress map and a forest maps that you can put together either with the fortress or the pict village? Scenarios using only warrior heroes. I usually get the complaint that only Conan can "make things happen" in the game, and the rest of the heroes are nothing but sidekicks with some useful skills. Maybe it's just my players, but some good old hack and slash scenarios for a group of warrior heroes (with some clever plot, not just plain combat) would be most welcome.
  22. - More campaings. - A forest map, probably with plastic trees, as it would be really wierd to have the miniatures walking on the trees. - Perhaps another chance to get the Winged Ape.
