You say a Spectal hand - did you mean Spectral?

 

My only concern is that we've gone from the Outer Dark Demon in adventure 1 to the Dark Demon in 2, back to the Outer Dark Demon here. Is that an issue? My scenario can't use the Outer Dark Demon because it wouldn't be balanced.

Thanks for the heads up about "spectal"- I'll fix it tomorrow.  Frankly the scorpions were chosen mostly because they were about all that made sense out of what's available, but I do like how it turned out.

I just use the Outer Dark Demon as a generic demon, I think we are bound to have overlap with trying to use only certain tiles/miniatures.

I found the listing of the contents for Stygia and there are actually 3 tiles for the Giant Scorpions - so I am replacing the KS Giant Scorpion with a second tile for the Stygian ones. Might be more devastating anyway, as they swarm together. Mine is updated now and should be in compliance with our stated guidelines...wish I had not sold my expansions now so this was easier....

Is there more than 1 tile for the Stygian Giant Scorpions in the expansion set?

I'll find a different card for the idol, it's purely symbolic, I'll write in the encumbrance in the scenario.

The giant scorpion is KS only? I thought I checked that but will fix it.

Don't know why I haven't asked this before - how much of the ruined fortress is roofed? This will effect my use of the Outer Dark Demon and his flying.

@Matt John S   There is mine; have not actually made any changes from my playtest notes yet, but open to others trying it and getting whatever initial results they might!

Uploaded Scrolls of Skelos  with updated Dance of Derketo; work continues on the community generated campaign as well.

Also working on some storage components with my wife after a trip to Michael's today!

So, I believe I'm done my scenario. We tested it 3 times and in each case it came down to one or two moves/rolls to decide victory. But, of course, I'd like outside eyes on it. I'll type it all up when the editor is back online. I believe it is Kevin's scenario that preceeds mine? I'd like to write in some end game conditions that give Thoth an item that increases his movement skill by one (if the overlord wins). It'd be a little bonus he could use going forward and a piece of progression ( I know Thoth isn't in yours but he's in mine and Ken's two, I believe). I'd also like to give the Heroes a little something too. For mine throwing daggers or something might be nice (are you using those yet, Ken?). 

Yes mine precedes yours - while it does set up the ending, it also is kind of a clean break from the first "half" as the heroes will be slightly changed going forward (as Yogah will be gone one way or the other). Maybe if the Overlord wins mine and Thoth gets the idol, in addition to it offering control of Yogah it also grants access to some ancient grammarye (been waiting to use that word after reading it in David C. Smith's "The Sorceror's Shadow" :) ), maybe a spell or ability that gives him the movement due to having the aid of mystical wings like Yogah had at one time.

Luckily got mine printed out before the site had issues, so will try to get some more testing in soon.

@Matt John S - I have the Outer Dark Demon in mine, would you prefer he debut in yours? I think of that one as kind of just a generic demon that is not really a singular entity anyway and needed another large foe in mine since everything else is scorpions and traps/sorcery.

Also planning to get mine tested tomorrow; my free time last week failed to materialize after all.

Thanks for the update Ken - I like the sound of what you are doing.  I have 3 days off this week so I plan to get mine playtested finally.

The Stygian Artifact card may work. (FYI it weighs 2) I am using it mine to represent a Pendant that Hadrathus has to collect on his way out of the Tower, but it has no bearing on the Campaign overall.

 

And there are 3 Amulet Fragment cards in Nordheim. Not sure if those are being used.

I was going to use those for my scenario and have Matt take it from there with them - but they would be redundant with Neil's idea so going to remove them from mine. Maybe the Medallion is broken and in shards, so more than one hero can have them to fight the demon?

I like the idea of the medallion - I will rework my idea for shards from the idol to not be redundant with this.

Really like the life tracker - I hope the next KS for Conan will offer something like this!

Door rules added to mine; hope to play it Monday or Tuesday for the first time.

My initial draft is done - I must stress I have not played it yet, and am starting with no armor for the heroes and will adjust as needed.

I tried to make some interesting events and special rules (Bat Swarm came from seeing the swarms of them on the map, somehow that was new to me).

If we do a "Thank You" section in this, we need to include the guy who does the scenario editor site - not only was it already invaluable to us, but he added some things we asked about during this project! For example, after I asked, he just added the re-rollable dice symbols to be used in special rules and event descriptions.

Currently working hard on a scenario for the community-created campaign that several of us hope to bring to you all in the next few months - I think its going to be a great project and I am honored to be working with some very talented and creative people on it!

I will return to my ongoing projects soon though!
