  1. This is odd, so many ways. :D I assume he is the year 0. But the position of the miniature is weird. :D
  2. It looks that the shading is getting better and better. Would like to se Batman in this new tone... THE TYRANNOSAURUS OF THE BATCAVE A tyrannosaurus in the basement is certainly an odd thing. It is even more so when the basement in question is none other than the Batcave, the den of a hero who has chosen the bat as a totem. So what is a giant saurian doing in this story?
  3. Yes it is going the right way and I am happy that they listen to the criticism. And as well maybe adjust the skin colour on Orphan as that is what is it putting a bit off. And maybe add some texture to the render. Hard to tell how it would be on small bad guys tiles, but it may add some on the big character cards.
  4. Ooooo the progress on the cards is a big one. Like this. Good work Monolith
  5. Hmmm the hero card is improved. I believe even the character art is using some new shader?? Am I right?
  6. Hehe there is an elevator to the boat, that is the next tile. Really like this.
  7. Like the mini, although the fire doesn't look like fire. :D Will there be some Red Hood / Red Robin / Batgirl based on The New 52! series?
  8. very nice, good job on this one and good idea with the cubes.
  9. I am faster than Bazman today.. :D I must say that the outcome of this cartoony 3D model tile scheme is the worst from all. Bluish hologram or Comics art was much, much better. I thought that we are aiming on Hush mood and art. Not this..
  10. I must say that I really dont like this new art style...It looks like Cartoons..😭 The hologram was better than this..
  11. Hmm looks very interesting. What are the difference against the Conan river?
  12. Firstly thanks that you are thinking about improvements and are not affraid to do some! For me the Holograms looked better, this looks to much plastic. Maybe it can be run through some effect to look a bit more like comics. Something like this:
  13. Hmm, hmm maybe I will be interested at the end..😀
  14. As the kickstarter is now much closer can someone from Monolith confirm that the prices are accurate? Just interested if the further development changed this price or not?
  15. I must say that I am not a fan of the Harley or Ivy. To cartoonish (not comics but cartoon) Especially the eyebrows on Ivy are terrible. :D
  16. Thanks Guys for an reply. I really enjoyed reading the Bazman reply, thank you for some insight to the game itself. Thanks for founding an time to write it. I assume that some more reports will be part of the Kickstarter campaign. I also understnad that both have its pros and cons. But I thing that even if you would create the board in such a way that it will be composed form big square tiles with possibility to attach them together with alll the sides, it will create a lot of options and different maps. That may be also interesting for the gameplay and replayability, but I also see that this is not really deal breaker as there is not to many people who are seeing it same way. I see that the outcomes will be different based on characters taken and equipment. But after few replies you will be still ducking behind same corner, you will know how it will take you to get somewhere and the first get to know thrill will slowly depart. (It will bring/highlight other qualities of course).
  17. I would counter it, if they are aiming for game to be more generic. The maps may help it a lot, putted in specific layout for a specific scenario if needed. Even if there would be an issue same as in Conan (with some scenario) you still may adjust the scenarios after the game will be released. The generic boards will just make more room for the new scenarios that may be released even after the game itself, also it makes more room for the community. I also understand that it may be late to add it. I just believe that this theme deserve more. Sorry but Chess are no argument. Yes they are good game, but restricted one and today the mechanics allows you to do otherwise. But I can understand that you will be happy with 4 maps. Maybe I am just to spoiled, by other games. Sadly I am not from UK, so I cannot try this game. Maybe you may writte some report how the game is in current state. I would really appreciate it. Is there any stealth mechanic incorporated? I just played Conan once and to be honest I wasn’t very catched by the game. Conan doing a lot of work, my support character just some small work..It is according the books, but it is sad that a player have this weird feeling. Will use your Chess reference, like a pawn to an rock.
  18. Hmm, I am really curious how they will incorporate the detective and ninja stealth to the game. Gadget looks fine though. I am still stucked in my head with a generic tiles not beeing in as a big mistake and actually it was the thing that hold me back when Conan was announced. Sofar it looks that the difference between characters will be only in probability dice (colour) or am I wrong?
  19. I would wish for something like in Gears of War, generic map that can be put together with several options. I would like to see some smaller square map tiles that can be joined together and create broader variability of game maps. This will made some space also for new scenarios as the board tiles may be putted together in special order to build an map. I am of course for all the new and special characters for the game and variety between them (Court of Owls and Talons). Would be also nice to have equipment specific actions with dependency on the gadgets. Campain book (hardcover) - all expansions and exclusive stuff bound together in one volume
  20. Hello All, I would like to make a suggestion, what I see a big issue with the Conan is one map for a lot of scenarios. Isn’t there a better way, to create a game map? I would wish for something like in Gears of War, generic map that can be put together with several options. I would go for some smaller square map tiles that can be joined together and create broader variability. I see that you work with elevations and so on, but I believe you are able to do it even with smaller pieces. If the map may be created from 6 pieces it will get you a lot of variety for a same scenario and I see this as a big plus for replay-ability. For me the maps was the one of the things that hold me from backing Conan. So I want to know how you see this? (Be gentle I am new here) :D
