  1. Lucky boy! It's so difficult to find them at a fair price! Nice paintjob!
  2. You're right, @Bawon Samdi. Here are your well-earned five points. Your turn!
  3. You're right... and close to your point. If someone doesn't steal it from you. First one to get the correct title get the booty. Nope. Not that kind of booty. The pirate kind.
  4. Let's get back to wor play: here are two new movies to guess: The easy one (1pt): The difficult one (3pts): (First answer get the point(s), 5 pts for guessing correctly both movies.)
  5. Stunning paintjobs, so precise and full of details! I love it!
  6. Finding your baby in a nursery? I too. It was such an anguish: What if I pick the wrong one? What will the nurse think of me? And what's worse: what will my wife do if she ever finds out? For me the problem with finding the right mini isn't really the fact that the character sheet features an artwork instead of a picture of the miniature, it's the fact that there are several boxes to search thoroughly when you are preparing the board or when you are storing the miniatures after the game. This require a solid organization and thorough discipline... both of things I tend to lack. I had to do that kind of thing to be able to find my miniatures more efficiently. Well, in the end, I see your point, but I hope they'll stick with artworks for Conan in 2019.
  7. Okay. I understand why Monolith chose to use a pic of the miniature, but I don't understand how someone can be confused about the character sheets of Conan as the artwork has the same posture as the miniature. As for the double sided character sheet, it could be an idea... but I'm not sure the name of the character is always the same in English and in French. It's often the case, though, but if Batman is Batman, The Penguin, for instance, is Le Pingouin.
  8. I'd like to have an artwork instead of a photography of the miniature, but that aesthetic point aside, the player board is a clever evolution from the character sheet and the book of Skellos!
  9. From the album: The Shivering Hands

A really enjoyable miniature, quite easy to paint. The left hand fingers seemed a little weird to me... But ceteris paribus it's another great mini in that splendid game.
  10. What does your master-thief look like? Here's mine: On the French-speaking forum, @razorspoon had the neat idea to use a green wash on Shevatas' dagger to remember his fight against the giant snake in the The Black Colossus. Thanks to him for the inspiration!
  11. It's likely. Another reason is that the request for the Red Nails was made by a user a few days after the beginning of the poll. The admin added it to the poll and when the poll was translated and added here, the Red Nails was among the other options from the beginning. I guess that on the French-speaking forum, some of the people who had already voted didn't change their vote for the Red Nails even if they would have been interested by such an expansion. I, for instance, didn't change my vote there. Maybe I should do so.
  12. This is a joke from an admin who added 500 votes when he created the poll. French-speaking users are well-aware about it. Those 500 votes don't really count.

I really enjoyed painting black skins. The only downside is that you don't have so much choice in hair colors.

And this is when one understands that the Spinach Consortium is behind the piracy on the argossean shores.

Maybe he just got hit by the saber of one of his pals when they attacked a galleon last week.

or whatever beverage you have. Tea would be fine too.

I still have to paint Zaporavo, but I'm really looking forward to paint that conquistador guy.
  18. Guess what? I've finished to paint my last pirate unit: It was nice to make them as colourful as possible in contrast with the Picts, for which I used brownish colours only.
  19. I haven't painted anything for Heroquest in months, but today, my wife finished to paint the first half of the skellies:
  20. This is my fault, as I translated loosely SentMa's post into English. I was thinking of the following excerpts, but my phrasing is probably an exageration: And I guess I had in thought another novel by REH with a similar background, The Jewels of Gwahlur, where the Oracle Temple is inhabited by the necrophagous man-eating Servants of Bit-Yakin.
  21. Yep. That cost must be paid by the Overlord, and not only by the Heroes.
  22. Well, it's been about one month without news of @Stonewolf on that topic, now. If you don't mind, I'll wait one more week and then propose to motion pictures to guess, just in case there is still someone around here wishing to play.
  23. This is a misprint. They should have a passive defense, not an active one, as any other unit of the Overlord do. In fact, all the tiles of the small addons (like the crossbowmen or Salome), including the KS exclusive (like the Giant Wolves) have the same error. This misprint isn't on the tiles of the three big expansions (like Nordheim). There was a request on the French-speaking forum asking for corrected tiles (brand new tiles or small stickers to add on your tiles), but Monolith stated that, due to the costs of production, they won't correct this. They have, nevertheless provided a file with corrected tiles to print yourself, if it is really bugging you and your players. You can find it there.
  24. I know that the bundles of KS exclusive add-on that were sold with the Book of Set were the 10% remaining from the first KS, that Monolith didn't sell just in case of shipment issues. Now that they have been sold too, I guess that Monolith doesn't have anything left. That means that they should produce miniatures again in order to sell them. Not sure they will do it... but as @Epaka, I can't give you a definitive answer, this should come from Monolith's staff (for instance @SentMa or @tony)... but maybe they don't know for now. They are very likely currently focusing on Batman.
