  1. Chronicles of Vengeance has been for years in the making and finally out in hardcover print! Happy to have contributed some scenarios and adding new type of challenges in solo / coop mode. From confronting a cursed Conan with his illusionary crew of pirates to playing as demons in search of a summoner concealed by the Council of Wolves and Snakes.
  2. Hi Sokoben, I'm always willing to contribute with some Conan content. Maybe a scenario with tiles from MB:R. Or some kind of interview about the amazing game system of Conan and why I will never get enough of it, as the possibilities are endless. I have also some nice pics of scenarios setup with painted miniatures. Mostly for scenarios I made as part of the Nemedian Chroniclers for Tales of the North / South. And can maybe hint to Tales of the East.
  3. @crazy_volucris Hi Birdy, I just removed the link yesterday, because this scenario was updated and added into the Tales of the South. So better to download that one as it has a lot of scenarios bundled.
  4. Presenting a scenario where the Serpent-men are disguised as Crossbowmen and infiltrating the city council to disrupt a peace pact between Valusia and Varulia. Tables and chairs are used as locations where the Serpent-men blend in as Crossbowmen and cannot be attacked. The heroes can either destroy the furniture to reveal the Serpent-men or gain support by bringing the Crossbowmen on their side. However, they have to beware Thulsa Doom, who will lay waste to their plans. Will the Heroes be able to stop 8 Serpent-men from infiltrating the council before turn 8? CONAN_Council_Infiltration.pdf
  5. With core box heroes and all tiles activating in order each turn, it was the closest victory ever. After failing the initial Leap attempt, Conan with 1 gem left was able to leap out of the area with 6 units. The ship took sail as they disappeared in the sunset with the 3 sacred treasures, but they had lost Belit.
  6. I played 2 more times with all tiles activating from left to right. So, units that reach the ship, activate again. I lost 1x and won 1x. When I won, Shubba had 4 wounds, Conan the Pirate 2 wounds and Savage Belit 0 wounds. Maybe having 2 characters with base move 3 makes this scenario on the easy side. I'll try again with core box heroes.
  7. Very nice idea of adding tile scrolling to Conan. I just played it with Conan the Pirate, Savage Belit and Shubba and the tile scrolling works very well. I noticed there are Pict Bowmen without the yellow reroll instead of Pict Archers. Is that intended? I'm not sure if I'm overlooking something, but feel like it could be made harder by placing more units or mentioning all tiles activate during the Overlord turn.
  8. Thanks, I feel honored to have my scenario translated and reach the German community. I thought my latest update went unnoticed, even though quite significant as the winning condition of the demon changed. I played it just 1x with a group, so would be interested to hear how it goes. Who won? And anything still unclear?
  9. The objective has been updated for the Forest Demon. He now needs to stay alive 10 turns, instead of just extinguishing the flames.
  10. The roles have changed. Conan and Taurus search help from Yogah of Yag to save them from the Shadow Puppet Master, who has been using foul magic to control the heroes since they set foot on Khitan lands. Together with the commander of the Tigress, N'Gora, they will have to visit another sorcerer's tower. Make haste, before their Will gets Broken. Required are the Khitai expansion and the Modiphius Tiles. The Shadow Puppet Master v10.pdf
  11. Going one step further, asking for some MB dashboards for Gorm, Ghouls, Children of Gullah and Manifestation of Yog for example, would be too much, right? But would be cool!
  12. Huge update on graphics design and streamlined rules, with thanks to Nesh-Shogta. See pdf v3 above with the new title Crushed by Darkness...
  13. I just learned some new tricks. Updated graphics added in pdf v2, see link above.
  14. Attached an image of the entire scenario. Sure it's corrupt? It works for me.
  15. This is a solo scenario that requires King pledge and the "Forbidden Places & Pits of Horror" geomorphic tile set. Fun part is that you can start with any equipment with minimum encumbrance of 1, obtained from deep beneath the crypt. However, will you make it out alive? This scenario is now available in Tales of the South, see link below.
  16. The Swamp Demon has been replaced with Forest Demon and gets health equal to that of the possessed hero. Also the additional movement of the Forest Demon will give the needed boost for the overlord. Also the heroes are no longer allowed to look directly at there secret identity, but can look at one of the cards when obtaining an Amulet Fragment.
  17. This scenario has not been play-tested yet by an actual group, which is kind of essential for a hidden identity game. If you are the first to try it out, let me know how it goes. At the moment I think it's balanced more in favor of the Heroes, but I would like to get some feedback before making more changes. Thanks for giving it a try.
  18. In this scenario, players start in coop mode without an Overlord. It contains a hidden identity element, as one of the players knows from the start that he is possessed. At some point, the Swamp Demon will come out and replaces that Hero's character, as the player continues as the Overlord. Will the Demon break free from his shackles or will the Heroes overcome him. The heroes were eyeing each other warily. Having traveled for days, if not weeks, was it possible that each one of us was here for the same purpose? Looking through the wares, Kerim Shah spoke out, "We're not going to find anything here. Who wants to check out the floating market with me?". Constantius grumbled, "It is said that the Amulet has been fragmented in 3 parts. I say, we split up." "Agreed", Valeria exclaimed, while emptying another basket with fine garments up-side-down. "Let's meet up at the altar down south, where the Amulet was last seen." The peculiar trio nodded and headed off. Little did they know, that they were not the only ones lured by the cosmic pull of the amulet. And little did they know of the ancient fires, that kept long forgotten powers shackled and hidden only in our darkest dreams. The lure of the amulet.pdf
  19. Latest changes. Most importantly, the Legend of the Devil in Iron is no longer required. The game has also been more streamlined. No more crushing spider by chest and spears having reach. And now it's possible to escape from drowning in the pond, as you'll only drown if you are not constricted and no friendly unit with swimming is in the same area.
  20. Starting gems for the overlord has been reduced to just 2 in the Reserve Zone. This is for balance, as it is now much easier to clear the lower areas of the tower, while the overlord can still regain units relatively fast with 7 gems per round. In addition, it shows that Conan and Taurus stealthily approached the tower and land some sneak kills before Warlock Yara becomes aware of their presence.
  21. This is an interesting scenario where the heroes need to defeat Khemsa and the Demon of the Earth. Both Khemsa and the Demon of the Earth start wit just 1 health, but there are mechanisms in place that increase the health throughout the game. Can the heroes save the town before it is too late? Heading down south into Corinthia the temperature suddenly dropped. Conan and Belit fastened their pace, not willing to let their latest haul get in the hands of one of the many thieving guilds in Corinthia. There is no better place than the black market of Zavaret, where jewelry passes many hands before finding their new suitor. The town Zavaret was almost in view, located just behind these rocky outcrops. Conan stopped, something was not right. It was way too quiet and the temperature had dropped to a level which could freeze the blade in its scabbard. Carefully taking his sword out, Conan and Belit steadily moved forward, ready for an ambush. This scenario is now available in Tales of the North, see link below.
  22. Thanks, there are some interesting ways to play, both for heroes and overlord, which encourage several replays. It would be interesting to hear the results. Were the enhanced orbs useful? And how were the tentacles used?
  23. Yogah of Yag is locked up in the tower and needs your help. Defeat the warlock Yara to set Yogah forever free. Slay the renowned creatures from The Tower of the Elephant, such as the lion and the spider. This scenario contains interesting mechanics, such as tentacles dragging heroes through the window to drown into the pond. Or create upgraded exploding orbs, as Yogah has mastered the art of alchemy. All in a fast, action-packed game of Conan. This is a single scenario for 3 heroes vs the overlord, which requires the King pledge, Khitai expansion and Yogah of Yag. The Alchemist from Yag.pdf
  24. One of the many great scenarios of Conan, but some unclarity. I played that Thaug can activate each tentacle no more than once per round. If it grabs a pirate, he gets dragged into the sea. If the tentacle is killed, then the pirate can still swim and attack other tentacles, but cannot climb back onto the boat. Because he has the swim skill but no climb skill. Characters without the swim skill would die. If a hero falls into sea, we ruled that he/she can still teleport back to the ship within the same round, otherwise also die. About Thaug hp, you can rule that he looses an hp with each tentacle that gets killed.
