You're right for the easy movie. Although you spot the right actor (and director), you're mistaken about the second movie: it's The Monster (1994), an Italian-French comedy
It's your turn!

No idea for the first one, but I'd say that the second movie is Bound by the Wachowski broth... sisters.

Yep, you're right. The easy movie is known in the US as The Blind Swordsman: Zatoichi. It was directed in 2003 by Takeshi Kitano, well known for his modern yakuza motion pictures, such as Violent Cop, Sonatine, or Brother.
The difficult movie is about the creation of art. The main character (played as usual by Kitano himself) is an unsuccessful painter. It's called Achilles and the Tortoise (2008).
Your turn to play!

I'll give you some clues, in order to help you.
The first movie is a recent revival about a important character in chambarra (before this movie, 26 motion pictures were produced between 1962 and 1989 telling the adventures of that character).
Both movie have the same director.

With the clue, I was able to understand what was the second movie, even if I haven't seen it. I've watched the trailer, and I think I'll give it a shot.
That is, if that movie is Perfect Blue (1997).

You have considerably challenged by idea of what's easy and what's difficult, so, in no particular order
Regardless, to ease the way of counting points, I propose that the poster still decides what's easy and difficult for them when they choose two screenshots, so that we can keep the same system of points: one movie with 1 pt, one with 3 pts, and both giving 5 pts.
Or do the players wish to change the system, and use instead something like: each movie is worth 2 pts, and guessing both movies gives 5 pts?

And beside, The Monolith Monsters seems to be quite a fitting movie on a forum such as The Overlord.
Anyway, @Stonewolf, it's your turn!

Yes it is. Gahjini with Amir Khan. This is something... else. Kinda funny to watch, in my opinion.
It's your turn!

The easy one isn't that easy, or is it?
I think it is the kinda crappy Robot Monster (1953).

Three points for Footballzs. You were close to get points, Bawon! Keep tuned!

I know both of them!
The first one is Logan's Run (1976).
The second one is THX 1138 (1971).
Strange: judging on the movie itself, I suspected Lucas' one to be more recent than Anderson's, but the latter one was made five years after the first one, although it's the more kitsch.

Well done for Truffaut's movie!
The easy one is Terminator II: Judgement Day (1991). This is during a daydream of Sarah Conor. A most famous scene that haunted my childhood.
You're right to guess the difficult movie rather than the easy one: it gives you more points.

Well, as a French-speaker, I may be mistaken, but the rule seems to state:
The player may reroll one die once for free. If it is written that one dice may be reroll once, doesn't that exclude the fact of rerolling that very die twice, or thrice, or 'n' times?
The French version of the rule states:
QuoteLe symbole flèche au-dessus d'un dé signifie que n'importe quel dé de cette couleur pourra être relancé gratuitement une seule fois.
which I would translate roughly by:
The arrow on a die means that any die of that color may be rerolled for free only one time.
The French expression Une seule fois being quite close of the English word once in my opinion.
As you said, @Epaka, it would be good to get some official answer about that. Maybe someone of Monolith, like @tony could clear this up?

The first one is very likely The Last Samurai (2003).
For the hard one, I have no idea, but I'd rule out any of the Zatoichi movies, and it doesn't seem to be one of the Kurosawa chambara movies... so... Wakarimasen.
-
On the fourth page of the Heroes Rulebook, second version, it is written:
QuoteThe arrow on a die icon means that the player may reroll one die of the matching type once for free (without performing a Reroll action).
It seems to me that about this, @Arthadan's way to play is canon, and yours, @Epaka, is a variant.

Hum.
There are people on ebay who seem to turn Conan boxes into spare parts and sell them for a living.
You might find what you want by those guys. For instance:
(Just take care of not being ripped off, as their prices aren't always fair.)

You're right about the difficult one.
The easy one was Casino Royale (2006), the 21th James Bond directed by Martin Campbell.
Your turn!
