  1. More news on the Trictrac forum, where @Fred Henry said that:

    Here's a rough translation:

During Thursday, on the beginning of the afternoon, we'll make a live video on the Tric-Trac community*, where Guillaume, Phal, Croc, Pit and I** will explain what is the project Beyond the Monolith.

On the beginning of January, there will be a KS campaign, Conan, Beyond the Monolith, during which the Engine Box, and the Faction boxes of the first universe (that is said, Conan universe) will be sold.

At first, four factions boxes will be sold: 'Pirates n'Privateers', 'Dangerous Wilderness', 'Demons n' Sorcerers' and 'Aquilonian forces.

    * the Tric-Trac community is a large French-speaking website about boardgames.

** Guillaume is someone working for Tric-Trac, Phal was the founder of Tric-Trac but has recently retired from it, Croc is a game developer who was behind, among other games, Claustrophobia, and I'm ashamed to admit that I have no idea about who Pit is.

From this, and what I've read on the French-speaking forum, it seems to me that this campaign will focus on a Versus Mode of Conan, something similar to what was made for Batman. And to answer to @garbetsp's question, with the few info I've read here and there, I guess that some of the content of this new campaign will be the same as the one from the initial Conan campaign. I hope that the players of Conan won't have to buy everything again, as Fred Henry answerd on another thread, to a member of the Overlord that was saying that he was saving gold coins for the January campaign that seasonned players of Conan will need only copper coins.

I guess we'll get more precise news on Thursday.

  2. Yours looks better than mine, in my opinion. On the French-speaking forum, I loved the one painted by guewen, because of the runes he added on freehand.

Although I'm not really happy of what I've done with that mini, with more than 200 miniatures waiting to be painted only for Conan, I know I'll never redo it.

One question to you, as you're playing in English: is he named 'Sorcerer' or 'Warlock'?

  3. Well, I love it.

After my post, yesterday, I had a look through a search engine and this game is quite different from the other I've seen on this theme. I guess it will be a real change to paint these ships instead of miniatures of people. The scale could be challenging as well, indeed, as some ships seem to have a lot of details.

  4. I've never heard of this game, but I really like this terrain and the way you've painted it. The contrast between the very dark rocks and the lava is great, the stairs seems to be made from another kind of rock, brought from afar... it works very well, in my opinion.

I'm looking forward to seeing more miniatures and terrains from this game! Have fun painting them!

  5. Quite happy with this one! First, the miniature is great, with a lot of interesting details. Second, I didn't mess with his eyes, this time. Not that happy with how I painted his legs, though, but overall, a paintjob I'm proud of.

And you? Have you painted your Nemedian thief?

From the French Overlord site, the rumor is "Red Nails" is the focus.

Not sure that is a rumour. Maybe it's only a wish from @Pallantides, but as he writes the intro of the scenarii for Monolith, it could be promising.

Last thing I read on the French-speaking board regarding his collaboration, was someone from Monolith (I guess it was Fred Henry), telling him to get ready to write something.

  7. I don't think Akivasha has its own topic yet, so I start with a picture of mine:

As often, I'm not really happy with her eyes (and that face was kinda hard to reach, under her strange coif). I should have rework those, but I didn't dare to do it, fearing to get a less satisfying result. On the other hand, I'm quite happy with her loincloth, and I even managed to make tiny vampire's canine that you can see only if you know they are there.

And you? What do your Stygian vampires look like?
