Hello Overlord Community!

I made a pledge during the Conqueror late pledge . This was my first Kickstarter.

I anticipated at least some communication by way of congratulations to the backers and thank you and so forth. I haven't seen anything like that on Facebook nor the lickstarter page.

I figured a few days would be understandable... But it has been over 10 days.

I think every backer would just appreciate some communication.

Welcome aboard the Conan train! It's some really great minis and what I find to be a very fun game.

As far as Monolith and communication, they've had a rough go of it. When they've over communicated the whingers come out and tear it apart. When they've under communicated pleas for more abound. And when (at least in my view) have clearly communicated masses of folks complain that they didn't understand and are upset about some detail that was clearly stated multiple times. Their timing is all over the place, right now typically when there's some good progress to share. These things happen when Crom is change.

Monolith thanked us when the Kickstarter ended back in March. If that is what you are looking for, you can find it at the link below. Since then there, have been 27 updates, ranging from reprint surveys to designer notes to product samples. Their communication has been absolutely fine. As a late pledger, you won't receive email notifications when they post updates, so I recommend you occasionally check on the Kickstarter page (but don't expect updates every 10 days).

Ok great! That gives me more of a reality on the scene. Yeah I'm new to the whole kickstarter thing.

I really appreciate the degree of involvement and community that occurs as a result and feel much more in control as a consumer. It's really a new and pleasant experience.

If one is looking for something uplifting don't browse the comments on any Kickstarter project. It's not down at YouTube levels of depravity, but it trends negative in general.

I noticed that. It's unfortunate. Don't they know that these guys are for the most part going out on a huge limb to create games from the bottom up for fans?

Anyway. Free speech in America right!

It is an interesting environment in which to spend time -
