Received my copy yesterday in the Midwestern US. Great stuff! Some innovative and fun looking scenarios. After my initial read through I can say that it seems these scenarios have been well written and edited, with possibly fewer ambiguities than many of the ‘official’ scenarios.

I'm hoping there aren't too many errors. I pointed out anything that didn't seem clear to my eyes and @Doucefeuille seems to have done a fantastic job with this. Mind you, I haven't received mine yet.
Thanks Epaka! I'm ashamed Matt, I didn't translate!It's the FR community job @Not Quite Dead, @JabbaTheHatt, @Ellou, @Barbi, @Arthadan, @Crom !
And I want to add that without the community, the compendium wouldn't exist, we need you!
(Call for help for the third one :p )- 5

Hi there!
While the first compendium is dispatched, the second is under translation. And the TO team is already working on the third compendium!
The compendium 3 will be dedicated to Mythic Battle Pantheon. The TO team want to launch it at the same time in both langages French AND English
As you know, in a compendium, fan made scenarios and stories are published
We will select some on the English forum during the next week.
We've already select some on the French forum but on the English one there is not so much usefull things related yet.Go write, and send us your creations!
So we are calling for
- MB:P scenarios
- MB:P stories,
- English natives proof readers,
- other ideas ;)
You are encouraged to tag me or directly send me your work, or put it there.I look forward to reading from you!

@ronveer great job!
For the alternatives minis, you could have a look at the Reaper's one. They are far cheaper than darksword! I know, the Darksword minis are very beatifull (especially the Elmore ones :p ) But it's hard to spend so much money to fix a board game, so I think Reaper is a good alternative as their minis could be found both in metal and plastic.
https://www.reapermini.com/I also use them for alternatives units. Belit is a pirat captain, Valeria was a pirat too so the crew could be female! As the female picts in Scottia was warrior too, it's possible to have female minis in the picts units. The undead, the hyenas, the wolf you don't mind their gender :D
Some example for alternatives minis from Reaper
Valeria (Finaela from reaper) with two swords like the original one !
For Balthis, the alternative Balthus (Alistrilee from reaper)
For Shevatas (Londoni from Reaper, love her hair)
For Hadrathia and Peliah (Enora and Arcanamirim from Reaper)
For a Conan (or Red Sonja) alternative (the highlander heroine, Nadia of the blade, Iris or Frula)- 1

Who produced the game (MB:P in that case) and who owns the rights to the game does not matter in this case.
It makes sense in this case, different company, different point of view ;)
2 hours ago, Iesthir said:In RPG mechanic is just tool to work your story with players, and in all RPG books I've read there is always sentence that says that DM may change/break rules if it fits his adventure/scene better.
That's exactly how I see the THS, a tool. And around this tool we could tell different stories.
I think the difference between us is : I do not play a board game with a Conan theme. I play a Conan's story on a board game. In your analisys you forget the strong story-telling of these games.
On TO french forum where the community is strong and active since more than one year : you could see some OL adapting their play to the players team, some rules changes, new rules, some making their own scenarios, tiles, map, and above all of that : adaptating the THS to new environment and making cross-over (MBP is already in the rules, there is some fan made cross over : Blood rage, the Other: 7 sin, mice and mystics, zombicide or call to adaptating for Claustrophobia and full metal planet ;)18 minutes ago, Arthadan said:I agree with @Iesthir. When getting a new boardgame, try a new and exciting game system is always important. Personally, it would be hard for me to buy a game that is a "reskin" of another one I own.
I understand. It's the same for me for more light games.
But for big games, it's time consuming to learn/read/remember a big book of rules each time you play a different game. On such big game, in my side I see people sticking few differents games till it's boring, and then forget one when buying a new. With my players we do not wish to learn/remember x pages of rules before each play (like in RPG), we want to live a story. And having different environment/heros/vilains/scenarios/objectives/way to play with the same core system is a big plus, mainly for long play :D
The THS is not a classic board game. It has RPG and Wargaming parts in it. -

In that sense I really like how Mythic works: They made 3 games so far (Mythic Battles, Joann of Arc and now newly announced Solomon Kane), each with different mechanic.
I think you make confusions. MB:P was produced by Monolith and created by Mythic Games (and now Monolith own the rights and will continue to devellop it). But for JoA and Solomon Kane there are Mythic Games only.
Conan and Batman are Monolith games.
And I am not sure that it's a bad idea to devellop THS through different games. Like for role playing game. The D20 system or Chaosium system are still the same, but different RPG use them.
We could see the differences between Batman and Conan and how the THS fit perfectly for the Gotham city chronicles with some improvements and changes. Not the same feeling than for Conan, and for both games a great feeling, a strong story-telling! -
I'm with you! Buffy would fit very well in the THS !
There is no huge super power, a big amount of Heroes, vilains and units possible, lots of locations as you list them.
@Fred Henry ? What are your thoughts? -

Hi!
For the Overlord box, I just used the card box in which there were the miniatures, it's the correct size.
I've glued the small edges and opened the front side
I made the 3 drawers with cardboard from "do not bend" letters.
And I recovered all the cardboard with a wood wall paper.
I made a previous box for the Skelos book, but I was not happy with

2-3 players - 1 ravens - Stretch goals and add-on Dragon
"In this scenario Fredrik, and his giant wolf Mahigan, have to save the queen Zenobia (Conan's wife). A renegate black dragon bewitched her in an eternal sleep. Our courageous Heroes have to go throught the undead army till the Queen's room. Beware! the black dragon is very strong... but fortunately he is afraid of dark and the heroes may hide behind those curtains!
QuoteThis is a new scenario by the Overlord community, made for children on a new small map, with two new Heroes including a giant wolf (as child love playing animals). This scenario is easy to win for Heroes, but a special additional rule add difficulty.

I've made some pict huts in wood....with lolly stick!
The curtains are made with an old cloth and help us remembering about the "1 more movement point"
The bases are made with some foamboard. You can take off one wall if Conan or the serpent destroy it with wall wrecking
And it's easy to store as you can dismatle every part ;)
You can add a roof by gluing some branch on a cone paper shape.
Step by step :
Cut the lolly stick
Paint it with a wash of the same paint used for minis
Cut the foam board and glue it- 6
