Mekhlis Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 (edited) The Sevetnth Voyage of Sinbad and Cat People. The hard one was easy and the easy one was harder. Edited September 1, 2017 by Mekhlis not complete

Not Quite Dead Posted September 1, 2017 Author Posted September 1, 2017 @Kathulos, can you give the answer for the incorrect movie, so that I can give his point(s) to @Mekhlis and he can propose two movies to guess?

Not sure I understand what you are asking. It reads to me like you want me to announce title of the incorrectly guessed film.
Mekhlis Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Don't fall for it, Kathulos. This gives me time to second-guess. 1
Kathulos Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Having grabbed a bite to eat and a Mountain Dew to recaffeinate my brain, I think I understand what was being asked of me. The incorrect guess was, The Cat People. Going back and checking, the leading ladies in Cat People and the film I chose do look similar, but I assure you, they are two very different actresses.
Not Quite Dead Posted September 1, 2017 Author Posted September 1, 2017 Spoiler Sorry, @Kathulos, my poor use of English probably mislead you. You are correct: as @Mekhlis had given a correct answer, the round was over. (Same rule as applied yesterday with @Footballzs' answer. ;))
Bawon Samdi Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Damned I m too late, i knew both. The hard one is innocent blood. Both movies i really like.
Mekhlis Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 I thought Nastassia Kinski was looking a little rough in the last one. Here are my entries: Easy: Hard:
Mekhlis Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 The easy one is from "Eraserhead", and the difficult picture is from Svankmajer's "Alice".
Not Quite Dead Posted September 6, 2017 Author Posted September 6, 2017 I love Švankmajer shorts. Among them, Dimensions of Dialogue (Možnosti dialogu) may be my favorite. Your turn, @Footballzs!
Footballzs Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 (edited) Sorry for the delay, but I am on holidays and...well...stuff gets in the way. Here are two unusual romances. Easy movie: Hard movie: Edited September 10, 2017 by Footballzs
Not Quite Dead Posted September 10, 2017 Author Posted September 10, 2017 Huh. First idea occuring to me: is by any chance, the easy movie: Harold and Maude (1971). Well, one point is still one point.
Footballzs Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Harold and Maude is correct. You win but before I announce the other, I'll give it another day or two to see if anyone knows the hard one. Another clue: the lead character is convinced he can fly.
Mekhlis Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I waited with my pics, too, but then I got the impression that once a guess was made, that was it. 1
Footballzs Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Yes, once one is correctly guessed that round is over, but I just wanted to see if anyone wanted to try and guess the other. The movie was Brewster McCloud: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065492/. NQD it's your turn.
Not Quite Dead Posted September 11, 2017 Author Posted September 11, 2017 Here are the pics of two movies I really enjoyed: The easy movie: The hard one:
Bawon Samdi Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Too bad i only know the easy one but I will not wait this time : American Beauty !
Not Quite Dead Posted September 11, 2017 Author Posted September 11, 2017 You're right, @Bawon Samdi! The hard one was The Virgin Spring (1960), by Ingmar Bergman. Your turn!
Footballzs Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Gee this goes so quick. I was away from my device for a few hours and didn't even get a chance to guess.
Bawon Samdi Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I would have never guessed The Virgin Spring. The only Bergman's movie I saw is the 7th Seal. Finally my turn: Easy: Hard: 1
Stonewolf Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 The Departed is easy - not easy to watch as I can't stand DeCaprio heh Internal Affairs is hard unless you know it's the movie Scorsese was remaking, still need to watch the sequels to see if Scorsese did a better job overall 1 1
