  1. I made this for my upcoming scenario called "The Shrine Of Amra", in which Conan deals with an impostor who claims to have been imbued with the spirit of Amra through these items that Conan left behind at the end of "Queen of the Black Coast". Conan is not pleased with this....

  2. Work is ongoing, still looking at a late January release.

Already thinking ahead to issue 2 - one thing I would like to include there is a review of the Modiphius/Monolith crossover book (at least for the Monolith content. If anyone that will be getting this is willing to do so let me know!

I would also like to see a scenario using the Modiphius tiles - this might be harder to put together since the online scenario creator can't be used but perhaps someone has aideas on this.

Hello Primeval, as explained on FB: Ok for me for the 2 heros scenario + the new map (I uploaded it today in the French part of the Overlord) + I'm traducing the scenario (which is already available in French : https://www.conan-scenarios.com/scenarioPage.php?MissionId=1292&fbclid=IwAR3gaMzIGuhUMLpu0UHnT3VlPJ7453eyMcDIkqVhznJI9Ft8ixKNQqvfvtE

Have a good day and thank you for this project 🙂

Thanks - I think this will be a great addition to the project!

I know this is a little late, but I would love to have a tray or frame that fits over the hero dashboards to help keep the gems in their respective locations.

To clarify, the hero cards have gems placed that can easily be moved or displaced (especially if the cards have been laminated). A 3D frame that the character cards could slide into would help keep all the printed information visible, and allow you to swap out different sheets for different scenarios while keeping gems separate.

If the frames boarders also run along the boarders of the gem pools, it would separate the gem pools and help keep the gems more organized during play. Not to mention more resistant to to sudden fits of crom rage.

You might want to take a look at this: http://18.222.237.5/product/player-overlay-compatible-with-conan/

He also makes one for spellcards and gems

  5. Hello all, it is time to start working on content for the first issue of our fan-made PDF magazine, Scrolls of Skelos.  Here is what we need:

    • Scenarios for 1 hero, 2 heroes, 3 heroes, and 4 heroes - we will probably have one of each but possibly more depending on several factors
    • Pictures of painted miniatures
    • A turn by turn "battle report" (with pictures) of an official Monolith scenario
    • Fan art
    • We are open to ideas for another article to include; we will already have one on scenario creation but if you have other ideas please let us know

This is a community, fan-made FREE creation - please submit with this in mind; no compensation is available.

There is other content already assigned, but I'd like to keep that under wraps as much as possible to keep some surprises and excitement for the actual release.

Please PM me here, at Barbaric Splendor on Facebook, or via email at barbaricsplendor@gmail.com

  6. I am excited to announce the next big community project coming, to keep our game going strong!

Scrolls Of Skelos: Cache One will be the first issue of a fan-made PDF magazine. I will be taking the lead on this but it is very much a community project and I hope we will have many and varied contributors. I will be putting out a call for specific content to fill out this first issue within the next couple of weeks, but I can tell you that there will be at least one scenario for each possible number of heroes, and I will also be doing one to utilize my much-downloaded but little supported (thus far) Thurian Set for scenarios in the Thurian Age of Kull. There will be articles on scenario creation, on accessories available to enhance your game experience, and more. We will have a painted miniature gallery as well, and hopefully fan art and fan fiction. I would also love to see someone do a turn-by-turn scenario report. If you have some ideas of your own please PM me, or share them here - once we get started on this I will create a group PM for those involved in creating this first issue.

I am hoping to have this first one available in January 2019, and release further issues at least quarterly. The cover image here is just a rough sketch.

    @Matt John S @Primeval @Neil Amswych  @drmauric

I was brainstorming our launch plan once this is finished. What do you all think of the following?

    1. Create a new thread here on the-overlord.net with a title announcing the completed book.

    2. A thread on Board Game Geek pointing to the-overlord.net thread.

    3. A thread on the on the-overlord.com pointing to the-overlord.net thread.

    4. A post on the Facebook Conan group. I think we should lead with the cover image to grab attention and point to the-overlord.net thread.

    5. A duplicate post on the Monolith Conan Facebook group. There is probably a lot of crossover in terms of membership, but it still is worthwhile.

    6. A duplicate post on the Facebook Miniatures A-Z group. Again, probably some crossover but well worth it.

    7. Remove links in our development and testing threads to the campaign book and individual scenarios.

    8. Perhaps we could make a note at the top of these other threads indicating the project is done and provide a link to the new, finalized thread.

Note: This is to prevent version control issues. Nothing can be done about already downloaded files, but we want newcomers to only have access to the final, approved version.

That's it. I'm out of ideas, but open to additional thoughts.

Sounds good - I got a little ahead of things when I saw Matt's post in the Conan gaming group and linked on Barbaric Splendor but will fix the link with the final product.
